What's there to do in the suburban America?

What's there to do in the suburban America? I live in a suburb near Philadelphia and there's nothing to do It feels like. I could go to Philly for something to do, sure, but I'm under 21, and it feels a bit dangerous being there. I could stay in the Suburbs for something to do.

are you at your family house or your own place or shared place (friends or strangers?)

there aren't like exciting things in the suburbs
depends how your suburb is formed - is it on the edges of nature - are there comfy nature walks to take? or is it near a small town that has been amalgamated into Philadelphia - sometimes people like to attend the small town businesses.
as a teen people hang out with their friends/gf - go to house parties or find places to hangout that are not supervised. if there is anywhere a bit underdeveloped teens might have parties there (bush party!)
if you identify with the boomer way of life, some of these will be things you need space for, some won't be location dependent but you might think a suburban boomer may be into it - people often get into gardening - for the aesthetic or for vegetables, or lawncare /homecare in general. Some people get into cooking (and if you grow your own fruit and vegetables). Some guys like having a vehicle/machine to tool around on, or do home improvement stuff. Take up golf, or play adult leagues of whatever sport for your skill level - some are people just goofing around some are guys taking out their aggression from shitty adult life on the field.

You can't do anything without a car. I very much prefer places with good public transport.

    >what do in suburbs?
You live there and enjoy your property/nice neighbors because of decent pricing. The suburbs are about convenience, having a good sized property that is your own that's close enough to drive to the city for entertainment/work. I grew up in the suburbs and my options were basketball at the neighborhood court, swim in the pool or just chill at home. The flip side is that when the weekend came I was 15-20 minutes away from any spot people hung out at.
    >im under 21
find shit to do as an under 21 year old in the city then
    >wat do in my suburbs tho?
idk what your suburb has to offer man, you tell us

It sounds like your idea of “things to do” means “things do in the city”, in which case I have to wonder why you are even asking about the suburbs.

The whole reason why people live in the suburbs is to not be around all of the negative things you find in the city while still being close enough to visit the cities once in a while. There are plenty of other places within driving distance around that area that are not Philadelphia. You should be able to find another city to visit.

    >I'm under 21
That's your problem. Unfortunately there's nothing to do when you live in the US and are under 21 because nightlife is 21+. There's some under 21 concert venues but they're usually shit. You're options are working out or smoking weed.

Don't let the media and politicians get inside your brain, Philly is perfectly safe as long as you stay out of the bad neighborhoods. Old City is a must-see if you're a history buff.

Yep this is the case in suburban America, you're basically a prisoner until you're at least 16 and can get your driver's license.
