eh American food is mouth wateringly tasty, but it's not good for you thus it's easy to get sick. Jap food is "yeah that was ok" but it's also very healthy and it's pretty damn hard to get sick from food here, even minor indigestion. It would be unfair if Jap food was also mouth wateringly tasty, life always has its balance
>American food
What goes into that category? American food goes beyond just Hamburgers and Pizza, what we know today as fried rice is also American food.
>muh asian food is so healthy!! >they dont eat all that crap like we do in merica!!!
i really wish you retards would step out of your little box and stop parroting shit that boomers say. All the asian country eat like shit. Fried foods, processed foods, overwhelming amounts of sugar in EVERYTHING from cheese to milk, bread, the list goes on.
There are dumpy fat people in every asian country, the entire world is getting obese
Unironically Sasebo, a few miles away from Fukuoka/Nagasaki. There's this really small burger joint right outside the gate of the US Navy base down there and it's literally the best burger I've ever had in Japan.
Oh nice, I spent 6 months in Japan and found a great burger place in Tokyo. When I was feeling homesick as in missing American food, I'd hit up Taco Bell or my favorite burger spot in Tokyo. Thanks for reminding me. Good times.
My point is there is nowhere in Japan that does a good burger because they don't know how to cook that sort of food - therefore mcdonalds is genuinely where you find the best burger there
Yeah, definitely. Its around ¥1,000 for a meal, and I think around 600 for just a burger. I just got the shrimp burger yesterday and it was great. The place didn't seem to have ketchup or anything for the fries though.
Unfortunately Japan does only its cuisine well. Everything else they fuck up and I don't know why. Mos burger is best for accessibility, and I'm sure there are some specialty burgers out there somewhere. But if you're in Japan and hankering for another kind of cuisine, you're inevitably going to have to settle for less. Dunno what it is with the Japanese mindset but goddamn do they fuck up foreign cuisine. How in god's name do you fuck up a hot dog, or a pizza, or a hamburger, or even a fucking taco? A taco. But whatever, eating a full meal of sushi that is A quality for 7 bucks is pretty rad so whatever.
Japan does pretty well at high end cuisine from other cultures. You'll find plenty of Italian restaurants that feature chefs trained in specific regions of Italy... What's hard to find faithfully reproduced is italian-american style food like you get at any sleazy red sauce restaurant in the states.
are you seriously shocked to hear that the home of wagyu beef has amazing steaks? the sheer levels of autism the japanese put into their steak would astound you.
well yea I live in New Zealand, we don't have good food that isn't asian.
Nah that's what makes it bad. I've had high end steaks in Japan, and it just doesn't capture the soul of it. It's well made but without the holism to make it actually good. Japanese chefs study the recipes and techniques hardcore without trying to understand why Italian, or steaks, or anything else is ACTUALLY good. It's not like the country has objectively bad cuisine from other places, but it just don't got the soul. Sorta similar to some high end sushi restaurants in the west; they can be really delicious, but in the end some low to mid level sushi place in Japan is going to taste way better because they "get it."

You have autism, anon. Also a lot of these places have French or Italian head chefs.
Yakuzafag here, if anyone want a great BBQ restaurant, Anan, on the north-east corner of Kabukicho's district has the BEST pickled onion of all the Yakinikus I've been, including famous ones like "Black Hole"
Where's the best ramen in Amarillo Texas
im ngl man, Tokyo is a really cool city but Jap food kinda suuuucks

They eat a fuckton of fried food and processed shit

>American food

based wholly on wikipedia
they include subcategories of cuisine such as popular immigrant cuisines in a country's cuisine
List is too large.
>jap food
>very healthy
why is this absolute badge of retardation so widespread? i have no fucking idea where people get this
because Japanese people have healthy diets
People hear about the National Diet in the news then make retarded assumptions.
I'm a nice hoe today, you get a (You) without having to suck my moronballs. Retard take but hilarious funny funny anon

Seconded. Only decent response so far
I didn't think it was a decent response. Guess we're back to zero.
Kek what are you expecting in fucking Japan of all places?
Oh nice, I spent 6 months in Japan and found a great burger place in Tokyo. When I was feeling homesick as in missing American food, I'd hit up Taco Bell or my favorite burger spot in Tokyo. Thanks for reminding me. Good times.
This one is authentic
Japanese cheese is awful for you like american slices, but also not tasty
I think the best one I had was at Wendy's lol. I wasn't seeking out burgers so that can't mean much.
Munch’s Burger Shack.
Get the trump burger
mcdonalds
mcdonalds in japan is exactly like mcdonalds in the US it turns out: trash
My point is there is nowhere in Japan that does a good burger because they don't know how to cook that sort of food - therefore mcdonalds is genuinely where you find the best burger there
Why would you want to eat a shitty burger anywhere, let alone in Tokyo?
I said best burger, not shitty burger, are you retarded?
Jap food isn’t healthy per se, what makes it healthier than American food is that the Japanese have a grasp on the idea of portion control.
>goes to foreign country
>wants to eat home food
Doesn't get any more american than this.
Carl's Jr in Akiba.
Is Mos Burger worth a nibble?
Yeah, definitely. Its around ¥1,000 for a meal, and I think around 600 for just a burger. I just got the shrimp burger yesterday and it was great. The place didn't seem to have ketchup or anything for the fries though.

?????????? japan has the best italian food in the world, they do it better than italy itself.
You guys must have been eating dogshit italian and steaks before Japan then, how in the fuck could you say that unironically
