>fishing for referrals on 4chins with a substandard offer that you profit from at the expense of the sucker who applies through your link
credit card shill bloggers are way ahead you, moron.
have a nice day you piece of shit
>with a substandard offer
150k for 6k spend over 6mo is probably the best ever. What is your non budgeting/spreadsheet using ass so hostile about.
150k of what?
Points, which equates to a chump change $900.
Is it redeemable for cash? Otherwise that is a shit deal
Ask the guy who says he gets over a million points a year from bonuses.
Lmaoooo literally good goy points
lmaooo at using credit cards to travel for free... what israeli serving idiots.
what are you going to use the Amex points for? I was going to get this card, but then I realized the transfer partners are kinda shit for flight and hotel. Its better to just get Hotel and Airline cards IMO
Transfer parents are shit except they are all part of an Alliance.
I use LifeMiles/Turkish for direct United flights
I use Virgin Atlantic for direct Delta Flights
I use British Airways for direct AA flights
Used 125k Amex points for a EVA airways round trip flight ORD-TPE. Not the best redemption but free $1250 flight.
If you live near a hub (SFO,LAX, ORD, EWR, JFK, MSP) Amex points make a hell of a lot of sense.
You can catch 90k RT business class seats from US -> Europe if you are flexible. You get the serious redemptions booking 330 days out or booking within the last 1-3 weeks.
example..
Virgin Atlantic has direct MSP->HND for 70k Virgin Atlantic miles.. Meaning the 150k bonus gets you two round trip flights to Tokyo from Minneapolis. Cash value of $2400
Another great redemption I've used is flying from my Midwest regional airport direct to Phoenix on AA planes using British Airways points. 22k Amex points for the round trip flight.. cash value was $435
Not worth. It's a glorified coupon card. Even the travel lounges aren't worth it.
Delta Card > all
You can transfer AMEX points to Delta 1:1
This is 150k Delta miles essentially on the cheap. You do you though bro
I travel for work quite a bit and only fly Delta. I hit gold status last year and will probably hit platinum this year. It's just worth it to have the card to go along with it to put expenses on.
ITT people who have zero idea how to use points for a high return. 150k AMEX points could get you nearly two round trip business class tickets from the US to Japan with a cash value of ~$10k.
ANA is a tough J redemption but it does happen..
glad to see this entire board isn't autistic
It's just flooded with moronic coomers. If you transfer MR to Delta or redeem through the portal you are an actual moron.
Just look at these idiots. They're called Sky Pesos for a reason.
Then it's flooded with poor gays who will pay $300 to fly in a tin can to Thailand because they're scared of credit after listening to a Dave Ramsey podcast.
>MR to Delta or redeem through the portal you are an actual moron
Sometimes you have to if you fly from a regional airport on specific dates.. otherwise I would agree. Hell I flew from a regional airport to fricking Norway one time for 25k Delta miles one way. 30k AA on the way home.
You're right I shouldn't make a blanket statement but it is exceedingly rare for any Delta redemption to justify transferring points to SkyMiles.
Delta has their sweet spots.. for me its SEA and BOS coming out of a regional. Very competitive flights to those two cities. Otherwise its hot garbage and I will try to find availability on Delta metal via Virgin Atlantic for 40% of the MR points.
3 w/ ANA 🙂
And you shouldn't fly just *to* Japan, you should do a stopover, ANA allows 364 days of stop over.
I do it for my cooming in PH, and other SEA. Japan and SEA is same mileage award.
I coom coom coooom
Agreed. I’ve redeemed for Europe far more than Asia. Although the value goes up exponentially for flights to Maldives, SEA and AUS.
It's worth it if you're going to use your CC for everything, and I mean EVERYTHING to keep the value of the card worth it.
The biggest drawbacks with these often come from the small fee's that to someone not using it for business and business travel don't make sense.
Yearly fee's can add up
Some of the biggest purchases most anons would use to get huge gains like rent often charge 1-5% when a CC is used vs. bank account
Point Policy changes
If you keep a balance running can be more expensive in TCO
unless you literally plan to long term use this card as a replacement for your others, any decent reward card tends to be just as good. FF programs often pay off better as they have no fee's and still can give upgrades. Pretty much any time I fly AA or their partners I am upgraded due to status.
