Hello guys i want to do a quick mini-vacation of 2-3 days to Nethrlands capital, mainly because i need to have a change of pace in my life( tired of my house that sits right into in an industrial area), but also because i already went there in 2013 with my parents and i liked it, and why not, try somethin other than the pussy weed i am accustomed to. My budget is something in between 500 and 1000 euros. Any interesting places i shoud see? I like museums and culture too
I just wanna know if the hoes in Amsterdam are better looking than the ones in Japan
ANSWER HIS QUESTION. WE NEED TO KNOW
the answer is no
we're full
don't come here
(unless you're a qt grill)
Based but I'm still eating your herring and fricking your women (for free or split dating). I have done it before and I'll do it again.
No. Just Czech prostitutes but 10x the price
I'm also interested, not just Amsterdam but Rotterdam as well or Haga, I'll be there for a week.
>3 Amsterdam threads and they're all dead
Damn.
I got a £27 flight there in December for a quick non degen revisit. Planning to just check out the light festival, christmas markets, Anne Frank house (maybe lol, such a shameless israeli cash grab), and the van gogh museum. I remember the maritime museum there was really good but I don't plan on going again
oh i'd like to go inside the royal palace too but i didn't look into if it's going to be possible yet (not always available)
Anne frank house is alright. It is a little short and kinda autistic (you have to listen to this remote control looking thing you hold to your ear) but it is cool in a way to be in the actual house and imagine yourself there
Van gogh museum was great. I enjoyed it a ton but it may depend on the special exhibit they have going on. Their audio tour also blew the anne frank house's audio tour out of the water
Go to Anne Frank's house only if you want to meme about it on /misc/. Other good spots to visit are Rijksmuseum obviously, and less known places like Our Lord in the Attic museum (a house whose upper floors were turned into a church for Catholics when it was not publicly allowed), and Kattenkabinet if you like cats.
the weather is about to go to absolute shit, you missed a period of great weather a couple weeks ago.
It's easy to find all the cool museums online.
It's easier to tell you what NOT to do: do not waste time in the tourist-only heart of the city center. Do not waste time by going to the completely empty Anne Frank house. Do not waste time seeing the sad tourist trap that is the red light district.
As for cool local spots / tips, I won't tell you because Amsterdammers only have a handful of neighborhoods (or streets even at this point) that are not ruined by tourists. And I'd like to keep it that way for as long as possible. But generally don't just stick to the very center of the city, except for some museums there.
gl hf, be prepared for shitty weather.
Go to Utrecht instead.
Going there soon for a fun cycling trip, this is my route and I'm planning to go for about a week.
Any suggestions or critiques?
Visit Amersfoort. The route between here and Utrecht is nice.
You can put your bike on a boat (de eemlijn) and cycle back from spakenburg.
I think I would stay as close to the coast and cycle in the dunes. Visit Leiden but then go back to the coastline/dunes.
I'm not sure about Dordrecht to Utrecht. I think going through Gouda and cycling through the Groene Hart could be really nice.
looks good anon
>going to rotterdam
>not going to zutphen-deventer
what are you planning on doing?
Rotterdam is an absolute ugly shithole with zero redeeming qualities.
t. rotterdammer
What coffeeshops do you recommend, rotterbro?
I had a better time in Rotterdam than Amsterdam but only because of the people I met.
get high hawaiins the walk around the RLD until you find a natural blonde worker
Went to Amsterdam 20 years ago. Often wonder what its like nowadays compared to then. To be honest, I spent most of the time in tourist coffee shops and Burger King. Still have good memories though.
