I immigrated to Canada in search of better opportunities and a higher quality of life for my family. Back in India, the challenges were immense, from economic struggles to limited educational prospects. Canada, with its welcoming and diverse environment, offered a promising future. Now settled here, I am grateful for the opportunities that this country has provided. The peaceful surroundings, access to excellent education, and the overall high standard of living have made me appreciate the decision to move. It's a fulfilling experience to witness my family thriving in this new home, and I am genuinely content to be living the life we've worked hard for in Canada.

thank you for posting this mr bot. The fact that our government deems it necessary to post obvious propaganda on our mongolian basket weaving forum in order to continue to convince immigrants to come and stay in Canada tells me that immigrants are most likely losing interest in Canada and you are now desperate.

seething "hey fricking relax!!!" what are you upset about now? lol this is why i fricking hate everyday life here. i lived in another country for a period and didnt even feel the need to not socialize. canadians are cancer

Tastes like screech, a water barrel rum. Speed up fermantation by cooking the bottle with warm water. Make sure to burp the bottle or the cap flies off.

i have extreme experience preparing and fermenting stuff. mead can be good, i personally dont like cider and imho it is just much easier to make a basic drinkable beer than it is to make a drinkable cider that isnt 100% for just producing alcohol. rice wine is also a huge pain in the ass, but is actually a better result than cider again imho. making hard seltzers is a possibility, though ive only tried 2 or 3 times. the key thing with making a sugar water/hard seltzer that is drinkable would be to have the ability to truly strip it and filter it very thoroughly.

I hear bud light is cheap these days homosexual

budlight is license produced by some inbev company, prolly labatt and it is about $2.50 per 473ml can lol. buying a 24 pack is simply that price x 24, there are no bulk purchase discounts in canada for alcohol.

yeah, I have experienced this from other canadians, if you aren't from the community, even if you are white and from the same province, but maybe 300 km away, they won't trust you and will act like b***hes and gossip about you. facebook made this shit get way worse too. It's pathetic. It's because they have never faced any hardships so they act like a bunch of church nannies talking massive shit and being morons

You WILL pay $2.35 for a 473ML shitty Laker Ice. You WILL pay $30 for a 375ml of the cheapest vodka in the country.

I tried making my own hooch a few times, it was okay but takes forever and was very high in calories. If you can have a constant supply of that it might work. Like 20+ gallons at a time.

I've cut down from 14-16 tall boys a night to 2-3 and today I only bought one. If you want to quit or slow down, a prescription of baclofen 10-30mg/day helps a shit ton. One pill feels like two beers.

fricking get this feels. its so god damn soviet. and i was even of drinking age when sundays were a HARD close at 5pm at the latest.

re: making your own. - istarted a long time ago, took some years off at different times. but by now im at the point where i can absolutely make products better than the average mediocre as hell ontario craft brewer, and on par with solid-good quality US craft brewers. i could give a whole bunch of pointers, but i wont unless there is strong interest. point being i make a 5% beer with no costs cut at $1.10 per 500ml (no 473 bullshit). stronger beers are often better value, being only like $1.40 up to $1.75/500ml to make even an 8% quality beer.

and i get what you mean about it being high in calories - so ive been aiming for the driest beers i can without getting messed up flavours. i really knew i was onto something when i did a 4 hour mash of 100% viennaand got the FG down to 1.003. and it still tasted completely excellent - malty, not thin or unbalanced. so aiming for lagers under 1.010 these days

even the homebrew supply stuff has been going up in price though.

      https://i.imgur.com/5eitHiv.jpg

Used to be able to get one of these bad boys for $1.10 a can back in the day. Absolutely disgusting.

FAXE 10% lager is not good at all but miles better than horrible crest and those dutch utter shit malt liquors.

      Japan has the cheapest alcohol.
Only option is to make it yourself bruv. It costs next to nothing to pitch some yeast and sugar into a bucket and put a bubbler on it.

yeah. i do a bout 2.5L of 10% most weeks. its not good for you but whatever.

I do not how cheap that will be. Gotta tell the price of a sugar, but you can make alcohol out of anything as long as you have sugar. The other part is just flavor.
Sugar with yeast without oxygen produce alcohol during fermentation and lots of co2

please do not push the stupid fricking virgin loser memes of -make mead!! -make kilju/sugar wine!! - make cider!!! theyre all so easy!! that is cobraJFS fricking tier and while you can technically make drinkable alcohol from cider/mead etc they are way way shittier than just buying a basic beer kit and making that. yes you maybe save a small amount of money and effort because you are too lazy to spend 20 minutes reading the most basic directions of -boil malt extract with (amount) of water - add hops at certain times - chill (just let it chill outside or in your garage or whatever, be lazy) and siphoning that, rather than pouring it in.

Just start making your own wine properly, and get a wine box to keep it cool and out of the light. It will last as long as you want as long as you don't take shortcuts during the fermentation process. Then you'd have it for your next craving.

I used to drive up there to buy booze when I was 19, good times. Did prices get worse or something? I used to buy 6 packs of tall boys for $7CAD or 750ml bottles of Canadian Club or J&B for $15CAD. I was always looking for the cheapest thing to buy the most of so I could make the most of my trip and that was a decade ago.

duty free or regular? theres no 750ml bottles for less than $27 where i am. 6 tall cans would easy be $20

Regular. It was around 2010-2011. I'd run to a reservation to get 200 shitty cigs for $4CAD and then I'd go to an LCBO outside of the reservation to stock up on booze. There used to be some good deals there if you were looking.

Dear Lord. Do they add that before or after purchase. I remember it being really convenient that you had tax included on the price so you didn't need to think about what you'd actually be paying at the counter.

in the beginning you want to have some air in the mix. it helps with yeast reproduction. if im using apple juice cartons or something, i'll dump them in by squeezing the carton hard into the fermenter to mix air through, then pitch the yeast. but yeah, once its on the way, dont expose to the air if you can help it.
