    i'd recommend lviv old town after the zigger defeat, if you specifically want the austro-ungarian feel judging from your image. there's a night train from vienna, fun experience tbh. could even do it now, the risk of getting rekt by a russian airstrike is still nonzero but also not that high anyway.

    fitting to your op pic, I think Budapest is very good for this. Many buildings, statues and monuments from the 19th/early 20th century. Being used to (post)modern west euro cities, it felt like a time travel to old Europe
