Australia only has resource extraction and service sector work, that's it.

unionists ruined the economy. Generally the attitude here is anything but blue collar work is not real work. But the majority of the jobs in the country are not blue collar work. Manufacturing is a tiny percentage of the jobs, we literally don't make anything. Yet blue collar is treated like the most important fricking thing in the country. So its completely insane.
No value is given to being smart or educated, paradoxically you need a degree for everything.
It's a dumb country being ruined by dumb people.

      >Generally the attitude here is anything but blue collar work is not real work
      That is based as frick.
I assure you that is far better than the alternative which is a nation of people with no actual skills. Here in the UK, every young person has a meme degree because trades became heavily stigmatised so if shit did hit the fan and all the old people died off we would be absolutely fricked

Since post-WWII after """winning""" WWII, our succeeding governments progressively sold off all industries, all automotive industrialisation, sold our dairy farms to China (we don't technically own our own farmland), our ports to China, the LIMA agreement (designed to send industies and jobs to developing countries. Australia complied and 98% of manufacturing has gone offshore) perpetually since 1975, the abolishment of the white Australia policy progressively from post-WWII. And every single step along the way Aussies just "took it." Just constant reaming and raping up the arse.

And for the past near century all Aussies have said in response to getting ASS FRICKED is "she'll be right, mate!" (it won't, your children will be either brown or raped or working in sweat shops).

For a half century of emasculation and realising the entire population is literally just livestock farmed by governments and corporations, this is the most emasculated people on Earth. Emasculated people are: weak, lazy, pathetic, mediocre. Why fight against the system? Someone who fights is seen as different. Someone who struggles to achieve is seen as different. Someone who tries to rise above the sinking ship with everyone holding onto their own shitslop McDonald's coupons is dragged down. It's human psychology because someone who tries to be better further humiliates and emasculates them, because they're all weak cowards. All the fight is non-existent in the soul of White Australians. They're waiting to die

every time the labor party gets in they destroy the country a little bit more.
The current labor gov has done more destruction to the country in 1 year than 20 years of government.
I knew this would happen and it was a worry ive had since the late 00s.
First chance im getting im emigrating like this anon said

OP another pitfall they try to hide from you is the ugly women
The men are handsome and have literally never seen attractive women and will hit on your wife unmerciful.
Also if you are single good luck getting laid because they are almost unboanable even in their prime years.

Why are all Anglo men such swarthy, strapping lads, bros?

I went to Thailand to coom and I felt threatened and mogged by these swashbuckling anglos with their masculine roughhousing and booming voices. I would be sitting in a bar and hear their BOOMING voices from down the street and I knew it was time to tuck my tail in and hightail it out of there, lest they show up at my bar, and begin goading me into a fight with some “banter”

Big does not mean aggressive. In fact, big guys are less likely to get bent out of shape over petty slights than manlets. It does seem true that drunk Americans want to be everybody's friend when they are overseas. Keep in mind your SMV increases the more confident and social you are in public, so you would've been better off joining the guys for a few rounds of drinks and loosening up a bit. Girls are not going to be eager to get with you if you are a solitary weirdo. It'll be strictly business, and the attention will turn off like a light switch the moment you refuse to buy another lady drink.

what is the future of australia? im curious.
once mining runs out or australia transfers to an increasingly green infrastructure, what is left for australia barring its dwindling mining economy? rare metals will be mined for the 'green' infrastructure - but is that all it has for its future and its economy?
from my research australia has few fundamental freedoms unlike america. conservatism in australia doesnt exist in any genuine sense because there is nothing to conserve (most industries have been privatized, there is no manufacturing, social cohesion is declining, crime rates a slowly rising, all cause mortality is increasing).
as the chinese increasingly gain more power, will they halt any of australia's deranged policies or will they elect continue social, economic and political disintegration?
apart from all these concerns, australia continues to be the lucky country (one of the wealthiest countries in the world, decent income distribution among classes, free health care, affordable private health care, low unemployment, fairly low crime compared to other countries).
australia is a fascinating case study in statism, sovereignty (which is quickly eroding away) and luck.
the question is when will australia's luck end?

      >mining
      will never run out
      >green economy
is blatantly self sabotage by deranged lunatic leftwingers
Put it this way, Australia will be so dysfunctional in the next 10 years it wont even be able to extract resources.
      >luck
there is no luck here. Lucky country was a slogan here that made sense before 1999. Since the country had an actual future.

      >what is the future of australia?
If they never properly tax the mining/resource companies exporting our finite resources, stop immigration numbers and start correctly sending those dollars into a wealth fund for our people?
We are destined for a Saudi type crash when they run out of oil.

In economics, this phenomenon is called a "resource curse" or sometimes "dutch disease".

The idea is, natural resource industries and occupations are so lucrative that all jobs trend towards either resource extraction or service industry which it supports and becomes highly paid. This means that there will naturally be no "normal" jobs, no manufacturing, and no creative industries producing intellectual property.

It's a trade-off, not necessarily better or worse one way or the other, but if you live in an economy like that you should be aware of the characteristics
