Sup, SighSee
I'm 32 years old, got roughly $1.2 million (crazy luck with options & crypto) and I honestly don't have motivation to work hard anymore
I just want somewhere comfy, cheap and safe to retire, anyone have some tips?
I guess Asia is maybe the best choice?
All help appreciated

Frick you homosexual I’m turning 33 and my networth is 50k. 50/50 between my Roth IRA and cash. Frick you. Frick you homosexual
I'm turning 34 soon. 3k in my bank account and have been out of work for 3ish years. Live in a bumfrick town, no car, and nobody hires here. You have it good homosexual.
…aight homie…
idk why but this sounds more fun than OP's situation
it's miserable.
how so?
unless you live in some shithole indian village with zero opportunity to get out then you can still take the homeless pill and be free, doing almost as much travel as you like
i'm currently gathering courage to quit my nine to five and do this myself
Cause I'm old, wasted my prime years, and living at home with a mentally ill parent. town is small with no opportunities. cant do much traveling on $3000 total life savings. probably will bite the bullet and go teach engrish overseas and say frick it.
>Cause I'm old, wasted my prime years, and living at home with a mentally ill parent
so your problem is depression
i'm 27 and i dread the prospect of turning 30, sometimes even thinking i should have killed myself at 18
but ever since i quit smoking weed a few weeks back things have become slightly better. no more mood swings and you learn to detect the useless bad thoughts that leads to depression beforehand. i basically can stop thinking them now
used to have these thoughts about how i should have talked to girls more in my early twenties and maybe get married, but i've been with so many prostitutes since then i don't get excited from sex like i used too anyway
>town is small with no opportunities. cant do much traveling on $3000 total life savings
do you know vagrant holiday?
he changed my life
not sure if he's poor like you or just a cheap bastard but he travels for months with only 1k including flights and everything
i can afford the best hotels but this is what i want to do next
Thanks anon. I think I'll take the leap. What's the worst that can happen?
I started my 30s in your situation and ended my 30s in OPs situation. Never stop chasing the next big thing. Literally I bought Netflix because everyone and their mom signed up for it and Tesla because I started seeing them everywhere. Also some crypto. I also bought real estate with the proceeds from the more speculative stuff.
As I'm in this boat myself, I live in a high CoL area but don't want to anymore. Don't want to move overseas. Biggest sticking point jobs wise is too little time off. I don't want to run a business full time either tbh but want the benefits of a job like medical coverage. But I don't want to do rat race stuff for israeli bosses anymore. Thinking about going into education, I think I'd enjoy it. Thinking about moving to a nice area of a southern state or the southwest.
>the next big thing
Sooo….AI?
Comfy, cheap, and safe? Some nowhere town in a flyover state. Buy a house for $100k, take a minimum effort job to supplement, and let the 1 mil increase via dividends from mutual funds or ETFs.
Anon, you are aware that when you retire you tend to die, right? Really though, I'd echo what said. Murica is probably going to stay about as safe as you could hope for, and there are plenty of beautiful places.
I haven't though. Not OP but
. I've had periods of unemployment where I was busy every single day. I have a lot of hobbies though and bought houses and fixed them up and sold them. So I always had something to do. Makes it hard to look for work when they offer you so little compared to what you've made through other means.
Sorry for delayed response, America sucks, it's filled with BBC everywhere I look and I'm from one of the most white places in NYC. I'm tired of people asking me "what I do for work", when I go oversea? No one bothers if I tell them I made it big here I get my eyes rolled at me if I mention crypto and "what are you still doing here go buy some land!". No dumbass america is done there is no value in it, even canada has fallen to india.
What I am looking for is somewhere that:
I can cash out without dealing with shitty taxes like:the US, seriously taxes are terrible here compared to what my friends say
A safe environment for a family than won't be overrun the same way NYC is(seriously they give migrants money now)
Women who respect a smart man and want a family of smart children
Somewhere with proper weather and all 4 seasons
Somewhere without spicy food, I don't mind some spicy but curry gives me the runs
A place with culture unlike the northeast
I vill not fricking pay for land taxes of 10k year simply to be told to fix my own pipes no not happening frick you landlord
I appreciate the 'help' given thus far but was looking more for something leaning towards Japan or Poland mostly.
>America sucks, it's filled with BBC everywhere I look
You should get off the internet, and probably lay off the cuck porn while you're at it.
Frick off come to america and say that, my body weight alone wouldn't mean I need to beat you that hard and I go to the gym.
You are painfully unfunny.
You’re moronic and don’t go outside. “Strangers” “joggers” and “jobless losers” are fricking everywhere.
Bring your dollars to Argentina, it's a big country to explore!
>America sucks, it's filled with BBC everywhere I look
The brainrot on this website is so hilariously real, over one milly in the bank and all he can see is black wieners everywhere he looks
>america
>safe
Compared to where? Mexico? Then sure, it's safe.
>options
Any advice on how to learn and properly trade?
Lose money until you make money, or lose money until you have none left. That's all there is to it.
Long range earnings plays are typically how people make insane amounts on options.
>got roughly $1.2 million (crazy luck with options & crypto)
Yeah sure thing
People successfully do it. Not everybody is as moronic and helpless as you are
0 proofs of course
>0 proofs of course
It's not as big a deal as you think
>Yeah sure thing
It's kinda funny but also sad you can't imagine anyone on SighSee having a million USD. I have about $500k in crypto rn and will have about the same as op within 12 months probably.
Go have a look in SighSee. Not everyone is working retail and blowing each year's savings on a coom trip to Thailand. Sone of us are preparing to retire because we understand we are living in the greatest era of opportunity to generate wealth.
If your entire networth is that 500k in crypto I would heavily suggest selling about 90-95% of it before it's too late. You're delusional if you think that's going to double in 12 months.
You know absolutely nothing about crypto, clearly.
Hahaha hey whatever you guys need to tell yourselves to justify the gamble I guess. SighSee is full of 14 year olds and people shilling their coins so they can get out of the red zone.
t. $500k in index funds and $20k in Crypto. aka the sensible guaranteed financial freedom.
Sorry. Used the wrong symbol. ₹500k index funds, ₹20k in Crypto. Heh. Good luck losers
You're as much a moron as the permabull crypto idiots, but for different reasons entirely.
The fact is you're all convinced you're going to be rich just investing in shit, but none of you actually have real revenue streams you are heavily invested in developing.
>shilling their coins so they can get out of the red zone.
What country are you from? You're not a native English speaker. Doubt you have access to more than 50 USD
>You're delusional if you think that's going to double in 12 months.
Dpuble? Kek. It'll probably be 10x in 18 months. How do you not know this? Go check out SighSee. This is my charity for this week. You're welcome.
1.2m is babydick
You can barely retire on that, and you're fricked if you have serious health problems or want to change your lifestyle.
1.2m is "make more money with it" amount.
Keep it safe and split off 5k-10k a month to travel with it and look around the world. You need to scout it out yourself and see what places appeal to you.
>high six figure hell here
He can retire knowing another cycle is coming in 4 years. That's what I'm doing. $1.2 million in Bitcoin is definitely retire money considering increasing price
>It's always going to go up
Really stupid. Once you have real money you need to diversify to protect it.
Having all your eggs in one basket is moronic unless you are really young and can come back from it.
>Having all your eggs in one basket is moronic
Being all in Bitcoin has been the greatest financial decision from its inception 15 years ago. You would have called people moronic every single one of those 15 years and been WRONG af
This time it's different?
>Being all in Bitcoin has been the greatest financial decision from its inception 15 years ago.
What an idiotic statement. You're out of your depth here and it shows.
>Hi guys, I've been spectacularly wrong, every year, 15 years straight in a row but let me tell you how you are moronic for not following my advice
Top signal btw.
>Top signal btw.
>4 weeks before the halving
JFC fricking turbo moron just learned the phrase top signal
>It's gunna go up
>cause thing is gunna happen
>and that made it go up before
Seriously considering opening a short just because of this thread. I really thought more dipshits had learned their lesson about guaranteed outcomes.
>Seriously considering opening a short
How do you open a short in India?
I didn't say being in it was bad, I said being all in a single thing is moronic, because it is.
Just because something happened in the past doesn't mean it's going to continue to happen. There are numerous potential frickups thay could occur.
Yes, everyone who was all in btc since the beginning is moronic. Their moronic gamble paid off. It doesn't mean they aren't moronic.
How can you possibly be this deluded? I have a shit ton of crypto, but I also have other things going on in case it shits itself. That's just good sense.
>Yes, everyone who was all in btc since the beginning is moronic
So multimillionaires and billionaires are moronic. And you, some anon on SighSee are not?
Instead of following their advice and becoming billionaires, we should have followed your advice... because they are morons and you're not?
Have you ever thought about sharing your wisdom with the world in book form? Maybe:
>How to avoid becoming a billionaire.
Yeah they are moronic. Just because they got lucky doesn't mean they aren't moronic.
>just be moronic and hope you get lucky
Will always be bad advice.
>It's going to go up forever
It's possible but shit happens along the way that shakes people out and somebody who is all in gets hit the worst if they get shaken out.
>Yeah they are moronic. Just because they got lucky doesn't mean they aren't moronic
People who understood how significant Bitcoin is are not lucky. Get back in your rickshaw
>absolute seething poor jeet
I forgot how negative and seethe and sneed SighSee is. Retail cope wagies and jeets who don't know shit about crypto
>I just want somewhere comfy, cheap and safe to retire, anyone have some tips?
>I guess Asia is maybe the best choice?
you moronic?
Brother you could easily make 60k a year off interest alone. Zero effort. Go to Europe.
>Brother you could easily make 60k a year off interest alone. Zero effort. Go to Europe
Why do ypu automatically think Europe is superior? Are you a jeet?
America is a gangrenous tumor on the face of the Earth and it should be nuked and all evidence of it's existence erased from the annals of history.
>rages about America
>posts brave POC living her truth celebrating her beauty
ngmi
Frick you all
Ooh. That triggered you. Jeet confirmed.
>everybody I have an internet argument with must be Indian
Is this the final form of SighSee phobia of poos?
>You're probably some swarthoid piece of genetic refuse also.
You know, in English, that means you're a swarthoid piece of genetic refuse. kek.
You're English is pretty good for an Indian though, it's not immediately noticeable. Keep working on it, you're doing well
