tbh anon, i think chicago is a horrible city to vacation in. used to live there and it's just getting worse. but if you insist on being around naggers:
stay out of the loop when dawn sets. you will certainly be hassled if you don't know what intersections to avoid (the majority of them tbh)
do not get giardanos pizza. go for lou malnatis. it's more authentic and tastier. when you go to portillos, get the hot italian beef DIPPED with the hot peppers. do not forget to get drunk on the architecture tour. it's one of my favorite things to do in the city. chicago magic lounge is fun. second city is cringe. the willis tower sucks. hancock center sucks. zoo is okay if you like monkies. the rental bikes are unreliable. explore the northern neighborhoods most of the time, they have more character. lincoln square is very family friendly. avoid residential areas because you probably wont even realize you're in latin kings or nagger territory. i could go on
Go to Pizanos for deep dish. I have no fucking clue why this website and SighSee say Lou's or Gio's. It is Pizanos. Billy Goat is good for burgers and bar, go to the original under Michigan ave. You sound like you are downtown, so maybe check out Mother Hubbards for drinks and games, plus other extracurricular activity if you know which of the bar staff to talk to. Check out Pittsfield Cafe for a good breakfast that locals get. If you are up north for whatever reason get Johnnies but if not any fucking shaved beef will do. If it really is your first time, do what the Chinese tourists are doing, shit like double decker bus tours and going up the Sears tower. Always funny. If you have a whole night to kill go to the United center and see the hawks and get mean mugged by the local fauna on the train back
Apple Pancake - Original Pancake House (1500 calories)
Lou Malnati's Large Deluxe (2232 calories)
Large Cake Shake at Portillo's (1490 calories)
braised goat shank - girl and goat (1650 calories)
chicagofag here
go LITERALLY anywhere else
every neighborhood here is either homosexualville or browntown or a combination of the two
maybe I'm just jaded because I live on the southwest side but if you absolutely insist on sticking around maybe try enjoying the night life downtown and avoiding the tourist traps like navy pier during the day
going to the bean and eating deep dish pizza might sound fun now but I'm telling you that it's profoundly unremarkable

Thank you for the advice. I am here for a conference so I'm committed... may as well make the most of it.
Portillo's if you're into touristy Chicago shit. The art museum, the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium, The Botanical Gardens, etc. Just look on Tripadvisor. You'll find shit to do.
Chicago Magic Lounge
I should say I'm downtown for like 4 nights. This seems a bit far.
Looks interesting tho
The Beef Wellington and Escargot at The Obelix with a Sancere.
>Obelix

The Bean

this anon knows what he's talking about
Get a Chicago deep dish pizza while you are there. Go to a bar near you and ask a local where a good one is.

driving is dangerous AF too
literally have to know another car can START SHOOTING AT YOU for cutting them off, then probably flipping them off
It's really not that bad. You just have to know how to drive in a big city like you belong there.
