Currently live in Nashville. I work remote and my lease is coming to an end. Are there any cool cities in the US worth moving to right now? I like cheap, relatively good food, safe, good music venues where acts come to, and no Arizona type heat.
Thoughts on these?

charlotte is eh, not really safe if you're anywhere in city limits. you can move out to the fancy suburbs around lake norman or so the south in union county, but it's getting very crowded out there too. city planners keep approving new housing developments and the infrastructure can't keep up

Portland Maine has really gone downhill lately due to all the immigrants. homeless people everywhere, even in the tourist areas. If you liked Nashville the closest city to it would probably be Austin.
