I loved Nijmegen, the entire town center is pedestrianized and extremely clean. I'd love to live there(for a bit) if I was already rich but you opportunities to make money and own a house would be way better in American. Like I'm a pretty entry level programer and I making 130k a year with a relatively large 300k house outside of a top 10 city(population). That a quality of life that's hard to beat. Netherlands would be fun for a summer though
In a perfect world, there would be bullet trains that would take you from mainland US/Canada across Alaska and the Bering Strait into Russia and down into China/Korea and finally down into Vietnam/Thailand/Laos/Malayasia/Singapore. Imagine how comfy it would be to travel by bullet train from the US into Asia and Southeast Asia. Reminder that Democrats ruined this dream.
is this the 'out of eden' trek that guy with the cart did/is doing?
i considered this and may do it in the future but im going to do an ocean to ocean hike in the US first utilizing the international AT, the AT, the Long trail, bushwhack my way to the North Country trail, use some of the lewis and clark disvocery trail, then the Pacific Northwest trail which will take me to the pacific. it'll most likely take more than a year to finish. >t. i have 4700 miles under foot from doing the entire AT and PCT so this isnt just a pipe dream.
I walked a hundred miles three times and I think I'm done with "trek" trips
>I walked a hundred miles three times
where did you do this? any specific route?

I'm American

how did you like the Netherlands? does it seem like a better place to live vs some similarly sized American city?

It's bait to derail the thread anon
Probably not as impossible as you'd think as most of this would have been done by boat, hence the line following the coast for most of it.
I'm kinda prepping to do this by bike. As in bicycle. I'm not too rich, so I need to save up for 4-5 more years I think.
Travelling in Africa; the Middle East; or Latin America. Yeah fuck all of those and then fuck them again.
