Planning on going to Finland for vacation this summer and looking for some advice here.
Some places I know I want to see are Nuuksio National Park, the Winter War Monument at Raatteen Portti, and the Kollaa and Simo Häyhä Museum. I also plan on spending a few days in Helsinki.
My personal interest are nature and history related and any suggestions are appreciated! Budget wise looking at around 5-8k usd for a week/week and a half trip.
Helsinki is kind of small, boring and expensive for a capital city, unless you can actively find stuff to fill out those few days then I'd trade that time for something else (protip: check out the ferry service to Tallinn and tack that onto your trip as well). Suomenlinna is definitely worth it if the weather's good though.
There's also the tank museum in Parola and a military museum in the nearby city of Hämeenlinna, you can get a combo ticket to visit them both in the same day.
Not OP but if I'm a /k/ommando and just want to visit those two museums where would be a good city to stay that's near them?
Hämeenlinna is the blindingly obvious choice but it's so close to Helsinki that you could just day trip it, it's roughly one hour each way. Tampere is ever so slightly closer if you're planning on visiting there.
>Planning on going to Finland
Lmao why? there is literally nothing here

I lived in Finland for a few years and would have to agree with you. It’s a really nice place to go in the summer and hang out at a cottage if you have friends there. As a tourist it would be boring as hell. You can find a lakeside house in the woods to relax almost anywhere without going all the way to Finland. The one exception would be going to Finland in the winter if you are really into cross country skiing. The network of groomed, well-lit trails and consistent snow is impressive there.
Not OP.
I visited Finland a few times and am currently in process of buy my first property there.
The nature is pristine and people are nice. If you pick up a hobby, you can make friends too.
I am lucky to have a job which enables me to telework, so can do 2 weeks on and off.
To OP: if you have time, visit NP further from Helsinki and try to camp out. For instance Seitseminen.
>Blah blah blah I'm a homosexual
Wow nice post
This. I lived in Sweden and met several finns. They had no personality and there was nothing to do anywhere up there - Norway - Sweden - Finland, its just forests and weird anti-social people.
aren't finnish people massive c**ts
>looking for some advice
Don't go. One of the most boring countries on earth after Canada. If you want natural beauty there are plenty of better places not inhabited by autistic mongloids.
Okay heres my advice.
Ready?
Just dont. Leave. Now you can actually have a nice holiday.
the nature is amazing and with that budget you have a luxury trip. helsinki is fine but other countries do big cities better, maybe allocate more time for nature
everything is clean and works well, on time, so in that way traveling is smooth
You haven’t said a thing about what you like doing
I would love to move to Finland long term with family and kids. I know its quite boring but I dont mind and I enjoy cooler weather. It seems pretty decent but my question tho, is Finland fvcked by migrants like the swedes and are they pro lgbt crap? I would like my kids to receive a decent education not be indoctrinated by drag queen paedos
we are full, not clearing any forest for you
>finland
>not be indoctrinated by drag queen paedos
XDDD
Frick off, we're full
>is Finland fvcked by migrants like the swedes
Not so much yet
>and are they pro lgbt crap?
Sure, just like any other Northern European country (google "Tom of Finland")
>Not so much yet
30% of young kids in Helsinki are foreign
more than half of them are from middle east/Africa
>b-b-b-but it's not so bad
>let me tell you about your country that I can't even place on a map
see yourself here: https://infogram.com/17-kielitaulukko-1g0n2o5eegnjp4y
Why do you link to a table that proves you lied?
how does it lie?
All capital cities of europe are infested, the only question is has it spread further.
>migrants like the swedes
Yes
>pro lgbt crap
Absolutely
Do NOT come here. You are part of the problem.
>I want to migrate to Finland but I don't want there to be any dirty immigrants there!
