Never been but how big of a fatass are you?
I wouldn't bother if your BMI is in the obese range, you're probably just going to be exhausted and unable to build the endurance without injuring yourself while you try to cut.
If you're only just overweight, go for it.

I used to be shredded in late 20’s to early 30’s. Got fat with a gf. I’m not obese but I am overweight. Been doing pure clean keto for 2 months and started spinning and cardio to lose weight. I used to do CrossFit 3-4x per week so I have the motivation to know I can get in shape again.

I had a friend that went to fitness street a couple years back and got in really good shape. I just want to speed up my process. Money is no issue so I don’t need to cut costs by going somewhere else.

Pretty much. Lifting is a waste of time.

Lifting is never a waste of time if you do it right. If you lose weight without exercise then you'll become skinny(fat) whereas with lifting you'll look atleast decent/good

Most people are idiots and try to lose weight/fat and build muscle at the same time which is an incredibly inefficient approach. Anyone who's a fatass should focus on losing weight first by reducing their caloric intake combined with cardio, and when their body has become a clean canvas they can start lifting and eating at a caloric surplus to build muscle

I dated a girl who is an instructor there. A strong case of white fever. I was working out elsewhere. Overall it's not better than fitness anywhere else there's just a good PR image around that particular place. Its expensive, not just relative to Thailand but also the west, believe it or not. 1k baht per hour is the usual personal trainer rate.

Ya you don't need expensive martial arts training in a shithole city to accomplish your goal.
Choose any muay thai or standard gym in a Thai city of your choice.

    I did BKK in december.

You too can commit copyright infringement if you get shredded and learn Muay Thai. If any homosexual lawyers come knocking on your door, just front kick them straight back out onto the road.
