Fl beaches

So I'm vacationing at Daytona Beach. I really like it here. It has a fifties feel. Most places are still American and haven't been destroyed by foreigners. The biggest problem is that a cat 4 hurricane came through and wrecked a lot of stuff.

They have a lot of cute diners. This one is old school Betty Boop.

Good suggestion. St. Augustine is a great place to take a day trip from Daytona. Never been there for Christmas though. Also, OP, if you want something a bit different in Daytona, pop by Dunlawton Sugar Mill Gardens.

Florida beaches are cool but have you ever been swimming in one of Florida’s freshwater springs?

I've been to Blue Spring, which is nice. Got to pet a manatee there when I was a kid, though you're obviously not supposed to do that.

    Yeah... "fifties feel."

Like the place has been fermenting in its own juices since the 1950s. So rotten and falling apart, mostly.

I've been visiting Florida for the last 60 years, kid. I'm well aware that it's a cesspool.

Do you prefer Daytona Beach where Bubba can drive his truck on the shoreline or the joggers doing nuffin on South Beach?
Personally, I can not stand the warmer, less crowded waters found near Naples and Lido Key, infested with disgusting mayo monkeys.

St. Augustine is a tourist trap, go to Melbourne and cocoa beach, qt town and hidden surf gem

Don't listen to this dude lol. Pretty obvious he's a tourist. Melbourne dude? Seriously? You'd know it's also known as Melboring if you actually lived here more than a few years.

Melboring? Why? Not enough tourists and diversity for you?

That post could have mentioned literally any other town on the A1A and I would have let it slide. Melbourne, fricking lol. You know what the best thing about Melbourne is? Its proximity to places with things to do.

A bunch or tourist traps and high crime isn't my idea of fun, you can keep your "places with things to do"

You also don't know what "tourist trap" means if you're the same moron calling St. Augustine a tourist trap. I promise you there's more fun to be had than in Florida than the shitty bar your frequent in Melbourne.

Because it is a tourist trap. Like what? What's more fun than the beach by Melbourne?

                Melbourne doesn't have a beach
