Florianpolis & Brazil

Want to visit Brazil, specifically Florianópolis, but speak no Portuguese, and I have read Brazilians speaking English is rare. I want to find a QT there, will the language barrier make it impossible?

Nope. Was just there for a wedding and I managed just fine. Lots of tourism there.

Between normal and SEA, where does Brazil rate on the mongering scale?

It really isn't complicated to download an app and start learning a language. Give it an hour every day for a few weeks, and you should have the basics down before you fly out.
If you are looking for a real relationship, that involves hanging around for a while and building a life in Brazil. Doing so without knowing the local language is a recipe for frustration, both for you and for everyone you are interacting with - though Brazilians are so chill, you won't be able to tell that they are exasperated.
Now if you are just stopping by to frick some prostitutes and be on your way, that's a different matter. Nobody expects a foreign tourist throwing money around to be fluent in the local language.

I've already invested five months on Duolingo to Spanish, might have to start from scratch with Portuguese.

My goal of going to Florianópolis is to meet a QT. Are they approachable? Where's there best places to approach? Is there a prostitution scene there?

        >Are they approachable?
Yes, partly because of the novelty that you're something different and they can practice/flex their english skills to their friends. Your mileage may vary on english proficiency. Also remember, it's basically the malibu of brazil. A lot of people living there are rich so your american dollars are nothing special. Every brazilian you see driving a ferrari paid more for it than an american too.
        >Where's there best places to approach?
The beach, beach "clubs" (just public spots with cabanas), and then the actual clubs. I think Pacha was the big one at the time.
        >Is there a prostitution scene there
Yes, there are literally "clubs" that are just basically brothels.

The latinas in Tijuana are comfortable enough to stay there and I want a waifu. I have been looking for other countries to find a wife and after researching Brazil, found myself extremely attracted to the women of European ancestry, and discovered that Florianópolis is basically all former Europeans. However, I think women in Florianópolis wont be desperate. I just want a waifu For laifu 🙁

Yea there's no kurt cazing your way with desperate women there. And you're right, tons of white/german descent people in south brazil. However, this shouldn't stop you from visiting. A lot of friendly and educated women live there, some probably went to college abroad. You can still meet them and talk traveling.

              Just mind this, OP.

Florianópolis, aswell as most southern coastal cities, is a city of Porfuguese settlers.

Portuguese woman tend to be not as attractive as those who are of Italian-German mix.

Of course, there are a lot of people who migrated to Florianópolis, but just a heads up.

If you want a real relationship you should try to meet Brazilians online then. Also why Brazil in particular?
