That's a nice bridge in a beautiful landscape but you do not need to be a fed to see that it's no Grand Canyon.
Got any more like this?
>muh infrastructure
>seeing Nature
Look at all those fricking people though. I bet it's a 7 hour bus ride with 150 people who don't shower to get the privilege of standing in line for 4 hours to walk across that bridge for 15 minutes.
I did Havasu Falls a few years ago in the Grand Canyon. It looks exactly like the pictures online. We did it in early October and there were only 2 other people at the falls with us because they put strict limits on the number of visitors. It's also a difficult hike, so fat people and lazy tourists don't visit.
It's China. It's more like a 30 minute high speed train ride for $5 with comfy seats then a 10 minute bus ride. But yes, lots of morons around when you arrive.
Nothing like the 12 hours in traffic then hours of dealing with hours of drunk jackasses blasting music from their phones and throwing beer cans everywhere.
>then
Yes. Trains don't take you to a bridge in the middle of a mountain, moron.
>Trains don't take you to a bridge in the middle of a mountain
Ameritard moment right here.
Trains can take you in the middle of a mountain, on top of it even.
Holy shit that is comfy
No train is taking you to this bridge you dumb homosexual.
Where is this?
Reverse image search gave me wanggu station taiwan
If you're implying that's what it's like at Havasu Falls, you couldn't be further from the truth.
The drive to the hike is on a super secluded road in the middle of nowhere. It's on a Native American Reservation. From the hilltop parking area, you have to hike about 10 miles to the waterfalls, or you can rent a mule. The Indians who live in the canyon take a helicopter. They don't allow alcohol anywhere in that canyon. We had a campsite with 200 feet on both sides of use that were empty. There are 4 or 5 different waterfall areas right around the village. When we did it in October, we saw maybe a dozen people at the falls all day. There is a hike further down the creek to a couple different waterfalls that are empty because of the difficulty of the final 5 miles of the hike. Havasu Falls is easily the most beautiful waterfall Ive ever seen, that includes Yellowstone, Yosemite. And that is saying something.
This is what most of the 5 hour drive from Las Vegas to Havasu Falls looks like. You definitely won't see traffic out there.
The South Rim of the Grand Canyon is a 3hr drive minimum from the nearest "big" cities and passes large swaths of nothing but grasslands and forests on the way. The North doesn't even open until May-June because its usually about 3-10ft deep in snow until then, and is another 2hr drive from the south rim. The climate at the bottom of the canyon is 40 degrees F hotter than at the top, it freezes on the tops of both Rims until May-June. The national park itself is about 2,000 sq mi, 270 miles long, covers 1.5 miles of elevation, and the park itself is surrounded by 10,000 sq mi of national forests and reservation land on all sides. People disappear or die there every year, even on the most trafficked trails (99% of the land is undeveloped). The average elevation of central and northern Arizona is approximately 5,500ft, and 6,500-7,000ft for the Mogollon Plateau and Mogollon Rim and the southern Rim of the GC, 7,000ft for the north rim of GC. A single area code in Arizona (928) is larger than the entire state of Florida and has less than ~850,000 people living in it.
10/10 post
the grand canyon doesn't get enough respect, people to to the rim and are like "wow it's big" then just stare until they get bored and leave
So insecure. USA and China are both big countries of course they both have nice places. I for one prefer China because the USA is expensive and you need a car to get anywhere so China's more convenient even though I live 15 minutes from the US border.
0/10.
Can we guess which side of the border you live on? I'm going to say Tijuana Mexico.
This. I didn't think really anything about the Grand Canyon until I went there. My jaw dropped. It is awe-inspiringly huge and beautiful. It's a place everyone knows but it's actually honestly underrated imo.
>fat injuns ready to give you the boot and inflatable pool toys everywhere
not quite the flex you thought it was. still, frick china
I wouldn't trust any kind of engineering in China.
Yep
its not the engineering that's shit, its the construction practices and lack of quality control in the materials. that bridge is just fine if the steel quality is any good and not your standard chinesium.
>if
>>if
both look bad, but the one on the top looks bad because it was utilitarian from the beginning and the one on the bottom was meant to be aesthetic lol
usa bridges are kino because you can pretend to be in a western movie, thoughbeit
What does thoughbeit mean?
Similar to albeit it means something like despite, in spite of, even considering, also considering. good luck on your ESL journey
Thanks
I don't know why anyone posts any non-Western content on here when chuds are just going to get buttblasted.
Asia is way better for travel than Europe or the USA but it triggers the sensitive bitter incels on here.
China fully reopened only last month; Zoomers will discover it for the first time and it will blow their dick off.
Traveling zoomer here, currently in northern Vietnam and absolutely loving the landscape. I'd be interested in going to China at some point too. Any advice or recommendations on places to visit?
Your local consulate to turn yourself in, traitor
How is it better than Europe? Better nature, maybe depending on where you go. Cheaper, definitely. That’s about it as far as i can figure.
>hate china PLEASE!
I wish I could get paid to post political memes like the feds.
I am tired of China shills.
>going to a beautiful spot in nature to gush about a bridge which, by definition, mars the landscape with its out of place presence
Yes, I can appreciate the aesthetics of this bridge, but it's an eyesore compared to the surrounding natural beauty.
The whole point of the bridge is you can admire the natural beauty.
Funniest post ITT. China can't appreciate being immersed in nature, it's all about taking a quick photo for social media, then packing up and rushing to the next stop.
Explains why I always see busloads of Chinese tourists at roadside stops taking pictures, but I never see any of them half a mile from the trailhead.
%3D%3D
By ruining it?
I'm not saying it is impossible for a man-made structure to look good, but can, by definition, not increase natural beauty as it isn't natural.
The bridge is not meant to increase natural beauty. Its only purpose is to enable you to admire what's around it. The bridge improves the experience. The bridge being ugly is completely irrelevant, since you look at the nature FROM the bridge.
Nope, look at the walkway along the cliff on the right. If you are there or anywhere else in that vicinity you're going to have to see that piece of crap
I agree that the bridge is unnecessarily ugly and big, but people have to get to the other side to continue their trip. A bridge is necessary.
I never implied it wasn't
"Many viewers doubted that the bridge was real, and eventually Snopes opened an investigation and determined that the bridge is real and not a deepfake.[7]"
lol westoids so mentally incapacitated by chinese achievement that they run off to snopes to make sure it exists
China Derangement Syndrome is completely real lmao
That's a hideous looking globohomosexual bridge and it ruins the natural beauty of the landscape. Imagine Americans cheering because they built a giant McDonalds obstructing the Grand Canyon. Awful.
>That's a hideous looking globohomosexual bridge
>its not the engineering that's shit
>dude shut up you annoying fricking chinks ahhhhhhhh no one cares
touch grass
I am an engineer you dumb homosexual, licensed in more states than you've been to. That design is basic b***h shit, the only thing you'd need to question is, indeed, the quality of the steel and maybe how the footers were done.
>I am an engineer you dumb homosexual, licensed in more states than you've been to
Oh my God! Can I blow you?
I don't think it's deliberate from a design perspective. I don't think they're trying to mimc israelitey globalhomosexual 'abstract art' garbage. It's. support structure, that's why it's humped in the middle and the bottom part is suspended and held with cables. I wouldn't trust it though, seen enough live leak videos and also pics of their engineering capabilities with corn cob bridges and what not
dude shut up you annoying fricking chinks ahhhhhhhh no one cares
south america/vietnam etc. is gorgeous, fricking beautiful beyond belief. maybe some of us go there, but most of us do not because we don't care. 99% of us go to china to frick chink pussy. we don't care shut up SHUT THE FRICK UP ALREADY AHHH EVERY BOARD AND EVERY WEBSITE WITH YOU ANNOYING BUGMEN BEGGING WESTERNERS FOR ATTENTION
Ugly design that doesn't compliment its surroundings or at least attempt to hide among it. Just gaudy and garish
>Ugly design that doesn't compliment its surroundings or at least attempt to hide among it. Just gaudy and garish
This is supposed to be something impressive? It's ugly and an eyesore. Chinese truly ruin everything, including the rare beautiful nature that still remains. And being china, it's inevitable it will collapse at some point and kill people.
Why is it everyone says china... le good! all the chuds on this bored have a fricking fit
They are seething because China le Bad, okay?
Implessive
Flying halfway around the world to walk across a meme bridge is a bad idea. That bridge is in the middle of a very populated city that sits on a literal swamp that is 30 miles from Shanghai, a city of 30 million people. I have a hard time believing that you're going to have more fun in a literal shit swamp in China than in the Grand Canyon.
CHINA BAD
RUSSIA BAD
ORANGE MAN BAD
Oh no! He's casting the glowie magic spell!!!
>The based Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region
>Human Rights
>Democratization
So glowies dream of a gay transexual muslim China. It all makes sense.
if you want to see beautiful places, just use the street view in google maps for countries where they don't allow street view, like china. since the only pictures there are are those that people upload because they want, they tend to be interesting or beautiful places or scenes. just drop the little orange guy in any random isolated blue spot and you'll probably find some nice stuff
that bridge looks like shit and it's nothing like the grand canyon. why would to the other end of the world in a communist country to see tree covered cliffs? you can even see the acid rain stains. absolutely gaudy and atrocious. what a terrible post. do better.
China is so polluted the government uses green paint and plastic leaves to cover up the dead nature. Half that shit you see isn't even real greenery
You people believe the stupidest shit and make flat earthers look like geniuses. How many buckets of paint would it take to make a whole national park or country look green?
Quit coping. Serpentza did a whole video on it. He spent over a decade in china and I think he might know a little more than you do about 中国
That gay makes money off YouTube. Outrage sells on YouTube. Lying generates more outrage than the boring truth. What’s more likely: China has grass like anywhere else and the people on this board who’ve been there several times can verify it, or an angry YouTuber who made a living saying “China will collapse in 2 weeks” for several years is lying?
Here’s a pic of a random park I visited. I can assure you it wasn’t painted, neither were any of the dozens of others. Maybe try shilling your videos elsewhere.
chink jungleslop will never compete with desert canyonkino
In terms of Canyons, Waimea Canyon is probably the most kino one, but the Blue Mountains in Australia have some epic ones (pic related)
it's the play on colours, that make other canyons more impressive than the Grand Canyon. The GC is epic af tho in scale.
Unreal Engine 6 is looking good.
What's crazy is the GC isn't the only amazing canyon in AZ. AZ has literally hundreds of deep canyons, GC is just the largest in scale.
Imagine having such natural beauty and sticking that monstrosity on it.
Shit style, ruins the landscape.
And I can picture the horrible road to transport that crowd. Those people in casual clothes and without backpacks didn't walk hours to get there.
Agreed.. FRICK THAT PLACE.
I spent 1 winter working there and IT SUCKED.
( that was 5 years ago )
I went back to working @ Yellowstone & everyone I know says the same thing.. FRICK GRAND CAYON..
Meth heads & drunk mexicans & Indians everywhere.
There were 2 murders while I worked there. ( employees killing each other over drugs/ or just being drunk idiots.
I dont even have any picrel saved on this laptop...
i went there myself. USA grand canyon fricking mogs it by actually being GRAND. Wulingyuan is underwhelming as frick, ZhangJiaJie is just ok. Huashan is pretty ok, the parts with the chains are neat.
>bunch of boring ass trees
nice try yang
I enjoy the presence of yellows greatly. The women almost always lust over you, the men generally seethe at your existence, and the ones that have escaped mental shortness are bros.
