Drink the $8 rice milk and tell us how it is
I'll put that on the list.
try to take a photo with the bear guy (israelite baka)
Try to count thed number of actual kids there and who actually care for this millenial creeps franchise.
Yeah I'm sure I'll see about 40 neckbeards and a record high of [one] child (moronic).
Rotr is great, smugglers run is mediocre to terrible depending on what job you get (pilot is obviously the best).
Blue milk is actually nice but not earth shattering. Food places are all weirdly tiny so getting a table is a b***h.
The characters/bounties wandering around are amusingly awkward. The whole land is just kinda confusingly laid out, possibly deliberately so crowds are spread out, but it makes it hard to get immersed
Huge mismanagement of the Star Wars IP. There is no classic original trilogy presence, it's 100% based on Disney Wars. It's canonically set in between the last two Disney Wars movies and in Florida they have not broken this canon. There is no Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker roaming about. No ambient music even though John Williams wrote an original piece for it. The land/world itself is not from any movie, it's made up for the park. They play laser blasts and ship taking off noises but all the ships are static. You have to make a reservation to build a remote control plastic droid that's like $150. They sell $400 lightsaber hilts. The cantina isn't the mos eisley cantina. The blue milk is coconut milk vegan shit. The falcon ride is awful. The other ride is okay but it's based on Disney Wars and half the elements are broken most of the time (if it's even open). Some of the ideas for the park were used in the $5k larp hotel, which has 'excursions' to the lan, and is closing because it's a failure. I would call the entire land a failure and say it's not even worth visiting once. Go visit the Harry Potter stuff at universal, even if you don't like Harry Potter. Perfectly executed immersive IP experience there.
Ive been in paris disneyworld like>20 years ago, but all i hear from +10y that it became cancer, like the disney itself. My gf asks me once a blue moon if we couldnt go there, but I dont want to, like i dont wont my positive memories be spiled by how bad things are atm. Anyone care tk elaborate how much things are changed in the span of last decades/years? Im talking lines, atractions (new disney shit vs keeping the old stuff), services and crowd. Thx in advance.
Paris actually hasn't changed massively, which is an issue in its own right. It has three problems:
1: mediocre food, very few themed options (buffets are OK, better ones are hard to get reservations for).
2: constantly playing catchup , 10 years behind Florida. Crush's coaster is its only unique "E-ticket" and its a fairly standard coaster that gets insane queues.
3: the French
However
1: great versions of haunted mansion, potc, Space Mountain, thunder mountain
2: They generally do some more interesting things with their night shows
3: not as insanely busy as Florida and it does have a time capsule aspect of it being 00s magic kingdom preserved.
Thx for reply, I remember that some lines were fricking bad back then and i had to go there 45-20min before raid closure to have any normal waiting time (5min to none), i cant imagine waiting mpre than 20-25 minutes for coaster raid.
do they have Star Wars shit in Paris?
Not outside of star tours, when the sequels were coming out they did first order patrols but that's stopped now
Keep your expectations in check as you make your way to the back of Hollywood Studios. While they put a lot of effort into the architecture and façade work the layout isn't particularly great with few points of genuine interest. As mentioned by others everything is themed after the Disney trilogy which is a major drag. It's mostly shopping and a lot of trinkets at that. Dok Ondar's is the most interesting of the shops to take in the space and see pretty decent prop replicas of sabers from the various films. Docking Bay 7 has some of the best quick-service food on property and is a good choice for lunch if you're not backtracking and ponying up for the Brown Derby.
Oga's Cantina is a pretty cool experience if you like mixed drinks and don't mind the expense. They put a lot of appreciable effort into the interior theming and most of the wienertails are pretty damn good. The charcuterie plate is mostly good too. Get a reservation and ask to stand at the main bar unless you have a giant group or something, they don't want people moving around. It's also not out of the ordinary for parents to bring their toddlers in hilariously. Unless it's really slow you're given about 45min total, regardless if you want to keep ordering so keep that in mind.
'Resistance' is the marque attraction assuming it's both operating at all and the lines aren't backed up forever but I'll touch on that later. It's absolutely worth riding even if a number of major show elements aren't functional. I don't know why they won't just shut it down for a week and fix everything. The ride is prone to cascading and being down for hours at a time so plan accordingly. Smuggler's Run is a neat tech demo but it gets really lame really quick. There's 6 seats per sim and only the 2 pilot seats require more than pushing buttons, but are able to frick up the most. It's really only fun when you're a group of 6 who know what they're doing and you've probably been drinking at Oga's.
Let's touch on the lines. While Disney obviously wants to monetize as many interactions as possible, they've created a 2 fold major problem with all the Parks. The first is your head is going to be buried in your phone a lot as the app is mandatory for making reservations and using a lot of services. The 2nd issue is lighting lanes (premier access if you're in Paris/Tokyo) bloating the standby wait times. Under the old fast pass system they did a decent job of mixing the 2 lines and they would normally turn you away if you were well past the return time. Anyone with a lightening lane however paid for it separately and the return window is exceedingly generous.
The regular lines will be routinely held up for a ridiculous amount of time as a stream of premium customers flow in. If the parks get busy it only compounds all the other issues. Also know that anyone staying in a "premium" on property resort is a higher tier of customer with more perks now.
As a side note, while they did port the system to digital before it's demise, Bob Chapek had the original fast pass machines physically destroyed so they couldn't bring them back.
>Galaxy's Edge
