I was there last week. It fricking sucks, and I can't recommend it to anyone other than someone I want to see suffer. Just go to Edinburgh.

That's my Uni, overall Glasgow is worth visiting for a day. See the west end (where the university of Glasgow is located), and the city center. That's it. Don't go south of the river.
you can easily spend a day at kelvingrove and the surrounding area
if you like dead people then the glasgow necropolis is a must see
st mungo glasgow's main cathedral and is definitely worth visiting. it has the blackadder crypt etc. if you like fantasy stuff it has hope mirrlees' grave outside
there is an underground rave/club near the Barras on friday nights. it is in a basement of a tenement block. it is called A Square Go (A2Go). you'll need to go to a bar in the area and say to some guys in their 20s you're looking for A Square Go.
pretty good house music, chicago style shit. starts around 11pm.
Why are you there?
If you’re a pure tourist you’ll enjoy Edinburgh more. Or you can hire a car and go look at pretty stuff up around Fort William. If you want to enjoy Glasgow you should go on the piss with some locals, asking angry looking young men for a square go is a sure fire way to soothe tensions
