hey SighSee I might be going to Louisiana in a few months for work for a few weeks. Basically all I know about Louisiana in the summer is it’s going to be hot and humid and fuck and it’s pretty dark down there.
where should I go and what should I do in my off time? what areas should I avoid to prevent problems/altercations with socio-economic factors?
what would anons recommend?
Are you military because I can't imagine any other occupation forcing you to go down there
getting into a shop working on oilfield equipment. I’m going for training purposes
jumping industries and jumping ship from a company who has a contract expiring in a few months
i spent last night in the arms of a girl in lousiana. though i'm out on the highway my thoughts are still with her
Everyone is fat and stupid so you can be a king if you aren't either
East Texas here. I hope you like humidity, skeeters, blacks, bugs, random thunderstorms and trees. Because you are about to have all that 10 fold.
Low IQ comment
Then you came to the right place.
I grew up in South just not the Deep South, I’ll be working in the upper Midwest just like I have for the past decade
I’ve just never been to Louisiana and didn’t know what’s good and what’s to be avoided
>getting into a shop working on oilfield equipment
Again. It's a good place for that. It wouldn't be surprising if you ended up in Houston too.
You want to order some boiled shrimp, chargrilled oysters. and I'll tell you to try corn crab bisque.
Order MLB pass and whatever other June sports you like. Download Draftkings, Caesars, or your favorite sportsbook, it's legal here and awesome!
Mix that league pass with a projector, a pool, and some drinks, a good time to be had for sure will be in the making.
It's super easy to get some pushy
It's also super easy to taste some incredible food.
It's super easy to get fat and co tract stds.
Have fun.
you meant pussy and stds right?
Louisianafag here. Yes the summer here sucks and you need to watch for hurricanes as well. Bring some sunscreen and bug spray because bugs will eat you alive.
Lafayette is cool and has great food
New Orleans is cool around Uptown and the French Quarter but the crime is something you gotta watch out for.
Lake Charles and Shreveport got Casinos
Baton Rouge sucks except for the lakes and the Capitol building
St. Francisville has some nice hiking around it
Cajun Country is generally pretty scenic with the swamps and all that. The central and North part of the State is pretty bland. All the interesting French shit is in the South.
thanks gents much appreciated
It’ll just be for a few weeks so hopefully my off time can be spent well
That shithole is like living in a steamy shower room full of urban criminals. Find the safe part of town and don't leave it.
