How do visa runs work here? If I fly to KL for a day, can I come back with a new 3mo visa?

How do visa runs work here? If I fly to KL for a day, can I come back with a new 3mo visa? Will people have no problem renting to someone who's doing this?

    >I work here
Then I’m not helping you, you dork homosexual. I know all the ins and outs of how to stay long term, and what the most efficient way to continue staying there and I’m just not gonna tell you.

I don’t help any dork homosexual that gets to leverage their western salary and work remotely in Thailand while I have to rot in America, shrugging off a low level of psychologically anguish every single fricking day, just sitting in my fricking apartment getting no pussy doing nothing enjoyable just counting down fricking hundreds of fricking days waiting for my lease to end so I can quit my job and fricking go back

You don’t deserve to live there and arbitrage your western salary and enjoy a life that I can only periodically enjoy. I do. You don’t. So you’re not getting one fricking iota of help. I hope you fumble somehow and are told to leave with the threat of arrest and ban if you don’t comply. I hope Thailand develops some kind of dork homosexual hunter technology so they can figure out which of the pencil necked dork homosexuals sitting hunched over their laptops at their hotel is working illegally so they can extort you out of your undeserved salary with threats of violence or jail time

Frick you, you fricking dork homosexual. Frick you

    Nobody help this fricking homosexual

Oh…sorry lad, you’re not yet deserving of my vitriol, but one day (hopefully for your sake) you certainly will be. As for the rest of the salaried dork homosexuals…

for those of us not stupid enought to get involved with immigration and then decide cheat immigration law...you have to leave after 30 days visa-free, then get another 30 days visa-free when you come back. That's it - they slam the door on your ass.

        >gloating about paying 60k for a piece of fricking paper for the privilege to stay in the country perpetually when you can already virtually do that for less than $500 dollars a year and the occasional visa run excursion.

Kys. Most dorkers know to kneel before my sermons, but you dare to gloat about your “elite” visa pfffffLOL. You’ll never be an elite in anything except fixing the bugs in my swift code homosexual. You’ll always be at some cafe alone while the chad bricklayers are out slaying the girls you’re too scared to talk to despite JBWmaxxing. Stfu

Getting a 5 year and finding a wife. You also can’t live there perpetually. That is what you were crying about above and it is hilarious.
          >I can’t stay there all the time and you don’t deserve to either!
          >You can there perpetually!

          Which is it, poor b***h?

      >How do visa runs work here?
If you have the right passport, you can either apply for a 60 day visa in advance or get 30 days just by showing up at the border. Once inside the country, you can "apply" (pay) for a 30 day extension. You can only do two land border entries per calendar year.
      >If I fly to KL for a day, can I come back with a new 3mo visa?
It will probably take you longer than a day to go to the Thai embassy and fill out the paperwork for a 60 day visa. In theory, you could fly there and then immediately fly back and get another 30 day entry. You will probably get away with that once or twice, but Thai immigration are also likely to grill you about what you're doing and will eventually deny you entry or warn you to stop doing it. Some people get away with doing several visa runs, some get denied on their first immediate return.
To lessen your chances of being denied, you can enter Thailand either by a land border or through airports where the immigration are much more relaxed than Bangkok and ChiangMai. (Pattaya and Phuket are good places to fly into in these cases.) But the longer you spend outside Thailand between stays, the less likely you are to be denied. Consider spending a month in Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, etc.
      >Will people have no problem renting to someone who's doing this?
A major segment of the rental industry is geared towards inflating prices and making it easy for people like you to rent apartments.

Don't be angry at others and work on fixing yourself. Many of us have given you advice on finding online work but you just build walls of excuses. For someone who has spent years living in Thailand and partying with hookers, you are very risk averse.

i've seen agents say that they don't ask fro any work related documents, just a copy of your passport and the money. you sign a lease and pay the deposit. if for some reason you don't return they keep your deposit.

Where in Malaysia? I found Penang to be expensive and Ipoh was really weird and unwelcoming. Would Borneo be a possibility? I know they have their own immigration policy.

It's cheaper to fly to Vietnam than Laos. I was only able to get a 2 month visa before I had to do a border run. I think maybe the immigration office in Lopburi had no idea what they were talking about.

Trying to get a tourist visa was too of a hassle at the thai dorker embassy and them wanting my full reservation itinerary for what? 60 days? Or is it 90? With a flight out? Fricking morons. So I'll just show up and fly to Malaysia since Myanmar is too moronic to have an open border station it seems. 60 days ain't too bad, maybe enough for most of my steroid cycle, but I'll take my bag out of whatever rental I'm in, ain't leaving that in a condo for a border run. What the frick is up with the Myanmar border. I need to visa run my current other asian country and stay longer because I found a GOAT chick who looks like one of those albino twins from The Matrix. Ima marry that b***h. Blacked out at the club that night but got her number.
