How the frick can i fly to Moscow if I am a pastabro?
All the main companies are blocked and i would prefer to avoid crossing the border from Finland/baltic states by bus cause you never know.

Are my only options flying to Turkey / Serbia / Caucasus and then change for Moscow? Shit is crazy expensive

Do you really have to go, or can you wait another 6-12 months?

I’m wondering about this, as well. Russia seems like a huge pain in the ass at the moment, particularly because European credit and bank cards mostly don’t work there right now. Do you plan to come with thousands of € stuck in your underwear?

But to answer your question, there are still flights into Moscow via Turkey, Serbia, or the UAE, among a few others.

Finland is a good option. You can go by bus easily. Tons of buses from HelsinkiLappeenranta to Saint-Petersburg

I'm usually flying through Turkey though

This, via Turkey should be as good as it gets these days. If you really don't like the prices, just don't go. Remember to check the Pegasus schedule and maybe others, though you would need to allow a lot of extra time for transfer then.

Just book directly with an airline.

Just spend time in Turkiye, or whatever central Asian country you are stopping over. Enjoy your last days of freedom, then fly on to Moscow when you can score a relatively cheap fare. You can travel cheap, or you can travel fast and direct. Pick one.

Can I take a train from Poland to Belarus to Russia?

      >Can I take a train from Poland to Belarus to Russia?
Belarus and Poland aren’t getting along very well at the moment; as far as I know some trains are still running, but there aren’t many of them, and most land border crossings are currently closed to traffic (this isn’t just about the war; it’s also because Lukashenko locked up some local ethnic Pole activist back in February).

You would also need to get a Belarusian visa in advance; visa-free entry for EU citizens is only available for people arriving by air at Minsk.

Doesn't a Russian visa grant you access to Belarus as well nowadays?

          >Doesn't a Russian visa grant you access to Belarus as well nowadays?
I hadn’t thought of that and don’t know, but perhaps it does. It would make sense given the weird political “Union” between them. I’ve only ever researched Belarus visas for trips that didn’t also involve Russia, and vice versa.

That said, I would make damned sure that this was the case before trying to enter Belarus.

You should also be absolutely sure that whatever route you take between Belarus and Russia is approved for foreigners and not just (Bela)Russians.

Not yet, t. Belarusian. Fly through Turkey or better yet, go to Russia after the war is over

Middle east like Dubai is an option but maybe a bit out of the way. If you're in Italy can't you take Wizz Air or something cheap to Turkie or Belarus?
