Everything marketed at foreigners is stupidly expensive. Is there an agent I can pay to help me find something to rent for 6mo? How would I find a legit one? I speak 0 Thai

What do u consider expensive anon? I can easily find a fantastic apartment with a gym and a pool and AC in Bangkok for less than 700 - 800 bucks
$500 max. How do you find apartments that aren't $1000+?
Hipflat has a ton of apartments in Bangkok that are less than 500. However these are almost certainly rates for a 1 year or more contract.
How much are people quoting you when you ask for 6 months?
What about asking around on the street?
Local-tier prices get you local-tier accomodations. If you want foreigner-tier accomodations, you will pay foreigner prices. This goes for any tourist destination in the world.
Ok, how do I get local-tier accommodations?
>Everything marketed to foreigners is expensive
>I can't read or speak a single word of Thai
>I need an agent to help me who speaks english
>I want dirt cheap
None of that makes any sense you retard. You pay an agent a cut, you pay more because they speak English, then you pay more because you're a foreigner and being marketed to. Use Airbnb since you shouldn't really leave home being this retarded
I'm sorry for offending you, anon. I just want to find something cheaper. Even if it's in Chiang Mai, anywhere is fine. Tourist markups are getting worse and worse.
The game for expats looking for rentals is facebook groups. Man you're a noobie. You won't get something prime for $500 in central BKK but you could get something a little further out thats super nice for that much, or in any other city/island.
ok thanks. I've never used facebook because I have >90IQ
That's fine. It's a necessary evil. In most countries I've lived long term Facebook is king for rentals. Just look up your city name followed by apartments for rent, rentals, condos for rent, etc.
Be aware that in thailand they usually want 2 months deposit and one month up front, meaning you'll pay 3 months worth just to move in.
Doesn't seem to be the case judging from your posts in here.
cope cope cope
Claiming to be high IQ yet desperate to get help to find a place to live in Bangkok lmao
Seems like you should spend time with the Africans at asok because you're very low IQ.
Im seeing lots of studios in BkK on airbnb for 500 or less, are these scams? they arent centrally located
