I am 20 years old and I want to visit Prague in July.
I'm planning to go alone for 10 days, departing from Lyon
I've found an airbnb (400€), an apartment with a kitchen, so I'll be saving on food.
I want to be thrifty, so I plan to do as many free activities as I can
what advice do you have for me, dear travelers? I'm in the process of planning, looking at festivals/concerts to do and places not to be missed.
what about chicks too? this summer I'd like to take my virginity away
excluding accommodation and travel (400€ + 300€), how much will it cost me in total?
do i take my car to get there or do i go by train?
Prague is not expensive. I wonder how much of that kitchen is worth compared to a place for 20€/n (you'll probably want to try some of the local food or not come back home to eat when hungry), that gives you 20€ extra budget for food, and since ingredients still cost, not sure of it. Cooking is tribal thing, when there are multiple individuals
yes of course I intend to enjoy the local food
I visited Prague for the first time a few months ago with my fiancee. I don't think your priorities really line up with what my trip was like but I can try to help.
It's a really beautiful city, and coming from the US, I was in shock at the sheer history of the place. I had never really fathomed people existing that long ago. Whether or not you give a shit about the history stuff, go visit Prague Castle, it's one of the most incredible things I've ever seen. And just spend a day or two wandering around the Old Town, it's really neat.
Prague is super cheap and I drank so much fucking beer. Also the food is really great if you want some recommendations. I guess if you really want to save money you can cook for yourself but you can go out and have a solid dinner for $20. Oh and we did a little tour for one day. I thought it was going to be lame and didn't want to spend the cash, but it only came out to like $15 a person, and it was actually really cool, and we ended up making friends with some people in our tour group.
I can't speak to getting laid there since I was too busy banging my fiancee, but there are tons of beautiful women everywhere. I think though if you are having a hard time fucking someone in your home country, you won't really be able to travel somewhere else and magically be a pussy magnet.
Oh and take the train, it's super comfy and convenient and you can meet some cool people. Or just crash and get some rest.
$20 for a dinner? Lmao, a dinner for 1 person costs no more than $10 if even that unless you visit the tourist traps where they charge $15 for a can of coke.
>what about chicks too? this summer I'd like to take my virginity away
aaaand thread ruined
> what about chicks too? this summer I'd like to take my virginity away
If you didn’t manage to do that in your home country, why do you think you will have better chances here?
But if you mean whores then they are pretty cheap. 70€ ugly old ones 100-120€ good ones. For you as a tourist probably little more.
why you should understand my approach, you really need to understand the character of French women and how hermetic they are
I've always heard that Eastern European women are more receptive and less likely to reject male initiatives
in France, if you accost a girl, 90% of the time she rejects you and becomes hysterical, it's very frowned upon, and in some big cities, "anti-harassment" brigades of cops patrol expressly for this purpose
Lol and you think here is it different? We are not in 80’ anymore where Czech girls would jump on any westerners dick. If you will get laid it is going to be only with some other tourist girl.
Pro tip: go for erasmus girls they are easy to get and mostly located in the most boring touristy clubs. but I guess that is true for every other big eu city.
Are you staying in a hostel? Try to mingle with people in hostels. At least there you'd have better chance at getting free pussy. If you want to pay for pussy, there are plenty of ways: privats, clubs, escorts, etc.
What is a privat?
unfortunately i can't do hostels because of my irritable bowel syndrome
>irritable bowel syndrome
Man fuck that syndrome. I had travel buddy who has this syndrome and he literally shit himself anywhere we go. After our trip, I totally cut ties with him. Fucking annoying
you can't even imagine my suffering, cancer is literally better
I try to live with it in spite of everything as you see it
>irritable bowel syndrome
Every person I've ever met who had IBS was really just a fatty fatso and had a terrible diet. Try losing 30 pounds and eat some fiber in your diet. Cut out the booze too and smoking. I bet you'd magically clear right up.
lmao
man if you knew
I'm an extreme nutrinazi, I'm full of sport
I've never smoked, I have enormous health capital
how naive
Just drop milk and diary bro - have you tried this?
>I'm full of sport
>I have enormous health capital
You get a laugh from me Mr. Bateman. Fucking KEK!
Take a fucking pepcid 30 minutes before you eat.
Interesting. That buddy of mine was indeed a fatty fatso. He snores really loud too. Makes me want to actually suffocate him to death while he's asleep
Prague is great, youll have a load of fun.
But in all seriousness, check the AirBnB for hidden cameras.
Do all the touristy things, and eat in some of the touristy places along the main squares, but also remember to go a street or two off the main path to find the less expensive places to eat.
Of all the places ive visited in Europe, Prague had possibly the worst food. Its basically large chunks of meat and 2 veg with watery gravy. We ended up eating more in KFC, Chinese Buffets and I think the Hard Rock Cafe
Prague and Budapest are notorious for those sorts of shenanigans.
>check the AirBnB for hidden cameras.
How do I do this?
Isn't it way too hot visit Prague in July?
Prague is brilliant. Food is mediocre. Beer is outstanding. City is beautiful, inexpensive and fun.
You can see the whole city in 3 days. You'll definitely want to split your time as East vs West and use the river as the border dividing the two. I'd recommend staying close to powder tower to really be in the heart of the city.
>festivals and concerts
Theres tons of cheap concerts in churches all the time, typically playing classical music. Don't miss these.
>i'm planning stuff
Honest Guide on youtube is your best bet, dude lives in Prague and did a channel essentially detailing where to go and what places you should visit, what to avoid, etc. I'm surprised no one has mentioned it yet, its usually one of the first replies in any prague thread.
>chicks?
I went with family so didn't focus on that, but I've heard from other posters here that czech girls "think their pussy is worth its weight in gold" so not sure how that will work out for you. Eastern Euro girls I know (russians, ukranians, khazaks) require some dating before putting out so if czechs are like this you probably will go home a virgin.
>cost for 10 days?
Really won't be a lot. It's pretty cheap because no euro, just learn to use good exchanges.
>car or train?
Train, even walking in Prague can be nightmarish from the sheer number of tourists so driving will make it way worse.
Oh I forgot to mention, when you do the gnomish quarter you're better off paying for individual entry instead of the full pass. Most of the synagogues are literally empty fucking buildings that you get scammed into paying for entry. Only the graveyard and the Spanish Synagogue are worth it, the rest of the gnomish quarter is a scam.
Since you've got 10 days and can see the city easily in 3, really take your time exploring and don't rush it. Beware the chav bongs, those fuckers are actual degenerates and it was painful to see them plastered drunk in public at 2pm.
Not OP but kinda related question. What's Jihlava like? Good to explore for a day or three?
>Prague
>I want to be thrifty
>what about chicks too? this summer I'd like to take my virginity away
>I’ve found and Airbnb with a kitchen, so I'll be saving on food
>400€
are you retarded?
I just checked hostelworld and you can sleep in a hostel in Prague for €12/night
they have kitchens
and you’re 20, so you’ll have a lot more fun and meet a ton more chicks at a hostel than an airbnb
>I just checked hostelworld and you can sleep in a hostel in Prague for €12/night
fake news
try one of the various summer cinemas, they are almost all the time english/original dub and there is even one that is provided by prague public transport which takes you to different places (kinobus)
take a walk around on either side of the river in the centre, there is a lot of local young people and even some street food, or visit some of the really pretty parks like Stromovka (more chill and less crowded) or Letná with the giant metronome.
try the creme de la creme ice cream, it is the best i’ve tasted so far.
if you like modern art DOX is a really nice place.
thanks for your tips anon
Lmao french brother got the same project but in august
salut compatriote, I'm leaving tonight wish me luck
