And in Brazil they came generations ago and integraded relatively well into their society. What did not happen in Turkey. And they all literally came in a timespan of 2-3 years.

Erdogan says the arabs are only in the 1.5 to 2 million range. Which is a frickign joke. The real number is closer to 8-10 million. Nobody knows.

Delicious food, bustling city life, lively night life, decent weather and an ocean breeze. If you don't like Istanbul, you're probably actively trying to stop yourself from having a good time.
Erdogan shouldn't have supported Isis and destabilizing Syria at the behest of Israel. If Turkey truly cared about stopping immigration, they'd work with Iran, Syria and Hezbollah to destroy the state of Israel. But Turkey only wants to save Palestine if it means they can recreate the Ottoman empire.
Lots of Syrians, afghanis, arabs, and gypsies. And an earthquake that might wipe out the entire city because none of the contractors follow code. Other than that, the worst traffic in Europe. The high class turks are fun though. Dance clubs, coffee, cigarettes, and raki.
Turkish women are hot
long commutes, crowded city, lots of stray cats even dogs, good food, beautiful bosphorus, cool historical sites, westernized degenerate people, based trad muslim people, twinks, trannies, sufis, saints, sinners, etc.
We love them and feed them. People even make them makeshift "houses". We don't euthanize the stray cats and dogs if they are not adopted. Religious and cultural reasons. But dogs are becoming a problem increasingly. Maybe even cats, for the other animals especially. The upside is, there are no rats thanks to cats, unlike Paris and NY
I remember hearing that Saddam Hussein had special police in the 70's and 80's whose main task was to kill wild dogs because they were so prevalent in Iraqi cities. These dude just randomly shot packs of dogs with AK's. Probably didn't even clean up the carcasses afterwards, either.
There was a video of Pakistanis killing stray dogs with some rifles, not AKs though. I guess it is about the budget and other limitations. They had to kill them with whatever they had available. I don't think letting dogs populate uncontrollably is a good or humane thing to do.
No pork if you want pork make sure bring canned meat with you.
The people are mixed. It's mostly very conservative and liberal with religious folk.
If do travel like university or long distance in Istanbul take in account the traffic it can take forever to get one place.
I remember 10 years ago in Adana Ceyhan People giving me weird looks when was eating during Ramadan and few indirectly commenting me this a Muslim country.
I go the big mall in İstanbul everyone is eating fast food like Burger King even the religious folk.
It's great we can pork now I always bring to my uncle who loves pork
Pork is honestly overrated, except for certain sausages and gravies. Even then, I prefer the pork to be mixed with beef in the sausage. Bacon is OK, but DEFINITELY overrated. I was born Muslim and in all honesty, the only worthwhile things I've come to enjoy so far since I've stopped caring, culinarily speaking, is country fried steak and eggs (sausage gravy), schnitzels and various sausages, also cold beers but I hardly drink. I just think beef is superior.

Same I love beef the most but do eat occasionally it's tasty sometimes like simple bacon and eggs.
I have to find a butcher to get thicker slices of bacon.
Thankfully I work remotely. But yeah, it sucks. Still, we can consider Istanbul a semi-walkable city
At least you can walk unlike the US you can't work or do your groceries without a car

It still takes forever if you want to go to a specific place. It's fricking crowded during rush hours. You can't get anywhere easily. And this was before all the Arabs and Black folk flooded Istanbul.
Lots of Turks
You mean Arabs
No, I don't. They're definitely not Arabs. Arabs are filthy animals. Turks are decent people, as long as they stay in Turkey.
You moron didnt even realize what he meant.
And lots of arabs and kurds is what he can expect.
Enlighten me, Achmed

Why are there so many cats in Istanbul? There are channels on YT that film the stray cats and I like to watch it.

i wish this was true. pork is pricey here but fairly easy to find in rich neighborhoods
Were do you get it I didn't see any pork last time I was Istanbul 10 years ago
Maybe 10 years ago it was difficult to find. Macrocenter, Carrefour, or Migros sell it as far as I know
Migros is in Turkey? The mountain israelite supermarket?

Yet another dusty shithole filled with roaches that hate Western civilization
I'd only ever set foot in that place if it were named Constantinople and were inhabited by Mediterranean Europeans.
You can expect to see a lot, but do not participate even if they ask
