i went last february so obviously the situation was somewhat different to now. That said we spent two weeks in lebanon and loved it. we travelled pretty much the entire length of the country and even "stepped" into Syria.
the people were lovely, the country was beautiful, the food was good and frankly i'd love to go back.
you wont be blackilisted when visitng the states, we were there in November nobody blinked as we passed immigration.
