I'm going to Singapore in a few weeks.

I'm going to Singapore in a few weeks. I've heard that bringing pirated media is illegal, but I assume that's only for physical stuff, right? I've got some pirated e-books and video games on my phone. Is that gonna be a problem?
Also, this is probably a really stupid question, but I know they're extremely strict with drugs so I thought I'd ask: it's not illegal to bring in condoms, right?

Where do you hear it from? No one gives a shit on what you bring into the country. I'm serious. I had friends bringing in dokha tobacco all the time

Yeah, and who's checking? No one's got time for that petty stuff. You're likely to get stopped at the arrival exit if you're bringing out a shit ton of luggage. Unless you're Kim Dotcom, no one gonna touch your digital shit.

When I first moved there, they noticed my graphics card and called it "night vision". They took it out, looked at it, and I told them "its for computer". They let me by. They don't scan your hard drives or anything, even if they have a reason to stop you.

This is basically only enforced for people who are bringing in 4 suit cases of stuff from Shanghai all listed just a .01 cent short of duty free limits, and chang's story is they are not for sale trust me bro.

Just act like you don't even know the rule exists and they won't care

This, I lived there for 2 years and if you're a foreigner, as long as it isnt a controlled drug, the local cops do not care about you at all. They see you more as a nuisance that pays their salary more than anything.

I don't actually plan on using it. I wanted to bring it with me because if I didn't, then the person who's watching my house for me while I'm gone might find it, and that would be really awkward. I just know that Singapore is INSANELY strict when it comes to random items (like chewing gum), so I thought I'd check.
oh and i don't speak singlish, but everyone knows standard English, right?

standard english is fine, you're not likely to interact much with locals as a foreigner anyway. They tend to avoid you, as Singapore has been a tourist destination for decades now, and there is no novelty to picking up a white guy for a night out anymore.

They aren't going to search your phone
Just don't bring any drugs and you'll be fine
