I'm thinking of going to Vladivostom. Will take the ferry from korea. Only problem is I have no idea what my budget for hotels should be because western website's don't show it. Anyone have any idea? Do they exchange Korean won? What about Chinese RMB?

      >look up hostels at your destination on Yandex
      >book with "pay at checkin" option
      >pay in cash when you get there

How much are hostels gonna cost per day

I doubt there are hostels in the Far East or anywhere in Siberia. Worker dorms, maybe...

Part of going to non normie destinations is figuring shit out after arrival. Consider calling the tourist bureau in the city you want to visit. Otherwise I'd pick a nice centrally located place for the first night, then after dropping your bags, hit the streets in search of a place that fits your expectations re: cost and quality.

only the more reason why they wouldn't have hostels
            hostels are for crowded places

What is up with worker dorms? Is it normal for Russian companies to actually give their employees lodging? I remember a Russian friend was working in butthurt nowhere Siberia and he kept telling me about his company lodging. In America such a thing is an unfortunate rarity.

        No problem.
Make sure that you get your registration slip when you check in at your first place.
I was never asked about it when leaving Russia but I think they still require you to have it afaik

why is Zelensky warning the front will collapse if they don't get NATO boots on the ground soon? And why did multiple African countries kick out France in favor of Russia since the war started?

One thing that amazed me in Russia was just how wheelchair accessible everything was. There where wheelchair ramps fricking everywhere. If I was a wheelie I'd probably move to Russia

Considering there is no actual fighting anywhere you're likely to go this is probably a great time to visit as you'll get amazing value for your money.

i think the "visit ___ before ____ visits you" template has been around a long time. i recall seeing "visit israel before israel visits you" accompanied by a picture of an F-16 fighter, in the early 2000s. which i guess proves that memes can remain topical for a long time
