Went when I was young, so don't remember much of what we did, but I do remember loving the trams and the bolos de arroz, oh and the Frango assado.
So if you've the same standards as a 6 year old child, I'd say just get on a tram and enjoy the ride.
i took the train to cascias once initially it was a normal chill trainride
then like 20 brazilian niggletts and maybe 2 of their mothers came on the train and there was nowhere to move so i was stuck amongst that for 20mins.
i thought cascias was really chill to wander around, get outside the main beach and restaurant crowd. funny seeing a few orhodox israelites pop up there.
stopped at a random restaurant there that didnt have any customers so no wait - was happy with what i got. i duno if a portugese person would like the food but was great to me. shrimp and rice.
in lisbon i really liked duck rice a lot
and bifanas - stewed pork sandwich on a roll. didnt try the other hot sandwiches they do in portugal, bifana was so good had to get it again.
As Bifanas do Afonso is top of tripadvisor cheap eats.. (im sure locals have their own favorite place and this is jsut a tourist magnet) very tasty, going at regular lunch time will have a line. super tight spaced restaurant to pay maybe only 2 seats inside, you would eat the sandwich outside ont he counter maybe.
i didnt explore all the meme foodie traveler locations (bourdain, mark wiens, somebody feed phil all have lisbon episodes)that get shown on video but would like to. 2 in particular
Cervejaria Ramiro is a restaurant that is really extravagant with seafood options.
Ponto Fino is across the river in Almada - probably cannibalized by the internet and tourism, but famous for its riverside view.
Not OP, but I'm also going to Lisbon to open a bank account because it's a crypto friendly banking country. Anyone have any experience opening a bank account there? I know the basics like having a NIF number and other docs. Any IRL stories would be great.
You should probably spend the money on therapy instead of fleeing from your problems.
Frick you anon. Go tell that to the coomers in the Thailand thread.
Speaking of cooming, how do I get Portuguese women to blow me?
Already have a few matches on dating apps lined up in advance but I'm not really sure what works on them.

eat pastel de natas
get harassed by gypsies selling fake drugs

Is Cabo da Roca worth it?
Looks like I can take a train to either of Cascias or Sintra and take an uber from there.
I enjoyed the cliffs in Ireland when I went.
the train should be fine, though uber is cheap

or ponto final if you want to spell it correctly
Go to Cerveijaria Rameiro and get massive prawns and other top tier seafood
Jardim da Estrela is a beautiful park
Find some indian food (lisbon is known for it), i enjoyed Haweli
Avoid being out late at night unless you want to shake off gypsies
You can get those custard tarts on any street corner cafe so dont bother waiting in line with 500 tourists at whatever the popular place is
try bacalhau.
you can leave and go to better parts of the country
