Long-Haul Flight Nerves

I love flying, and will be flying business class from Vancouver to NRT, it'll be about 10 hours. Never flown that long prior.
>For your first long-haul were you nervous?
>I'm bringing my Steam Deck and 3 different Pokemon roms on my phone
>Probably will be able to nap for at least 2 hours
>Also have like 20 hours of downloaded movies n shit

10 hours isn't so bad. Take a melatonin while waiting to embark. Read a book - don't stare at screens or you won't be able to sleep and it will feel even longer. If you worry about snoring, sleep leaning your head forward. Bring extra melatonin to help adjust your body clock your first few days in Japan and to gift to other travelers you meet.

Nice, thanks. On those pacific flights, do they usually dim the windows so passengers can sleep? Seriously hoping those morons who wanna stare at fricking clouds the entire flight dont get their way

        Air Canada?
You can dim your own window in Economy, and I can't see business class being any different.
I was going to tell you that you won't sleep, but if it's business you actually probably will manage to get some shut-eye.

    >stay up or do a short sleep the night before to help match to timezone I fly to
    >grab some Tylenol PM 2 pack from grocery store
    >have a few drinks before heading to the airport
    >maybe have some more if security was fast
    >pop Tylenol PM as soon as they start calling people
    >drink a bunch of water to avoid dehydration planes frick you over on
    >pass out after first meal
    >wake up right about landing time or set alarm for myself to wake up around 9am local time at destination

Most I ever do if staying up is watch the absolute shitty Asian movies planes have as they are so bad they can be a good 3 hr time sink

    >go to doctor, tell him about panic attacks on airplane
    >get prescribed a bottle of ativan
    >take 4 at take off, drink 3 shots of whiskey
    >wake up in asia

reminds me of a bus trip i took in india, think it was a 15 hour bus
      >take ativan, smoke spliff
      >take another ativan
      >can't remember how many I took, take more for good measure
      >stumble out bus in the snow mountains in broad daylight, fall on my face, twice

    >get a 25mg edible
    >take it right before TSA
    >kicks in as get to the gate
    >plop into chair
    >wake up wherever

I'm not DUDE WEED LMAO but a CBD edible does fricking wonders for the costs to make that plane a time machine

I actually forgot about CBD edibles completely.

      >go to doctor, tell him about panic attacks on airplane
      >get prescribed a bottle of ativan
      >take 4 at take off, drink 3 shots of whiskey
      >wake up in asia

I took Xanax once and shit is like a portal. Fell asleep and woke up 10 hours later and forgot the previous night almost.

You're in business class. Enjoy. Take advantage of the food and drink servings. Keep ordering whiskys until you fall asleep.

    Which airline?

If you're flying business take advantage of the food and drink, also you should be able to sleep more than 2 hours. Which airline are you flying with?

If you're flying business class you should receive an amenities bag containing things like flight socks and an eye mask, among other things.

If it's an overnight flight then the cabin will be dimmed and blinds down. People don't have to keep them closed, but generally do. But worst case is use your eye mask.

Make sure the games you play on Steam Deck don't need internet access to play, depending on your airline and wifi access.

Depending on what time you fly, you should get a welcome drink and snacks, then if it's an overnight flight they'll probably want to serve dinner quickly so people can sleep, then they may ask if you want them to wake you for breakfast.

Good airlines provide you with bedding in business class. You just ask the cabin crew to make your bed. I don't think JAL or Air Canada (assume it's one of those two if it's direct) offer pyjamas anymore in business class. JAL had a sleeping cardigan last time I flew, but you had to give it back. Not sure if that's still the case.

    Enjoy the departure lounge too!

Civilization 5 will make time disappear. I had to uninstall the game to stop myself from playing it.

Some porn is 6 hours long. You might want to watch that. You'll arrive at your destination with blue balls and ready to coom

I've flown from the US to Thailand 3 times. For me, the dry air makes my throat hurt and my eyes red and it's pretty awful after about the 6 hour mark. International flights come with onboard movies so I just watch whatever's on there usually. I also download a few movies onto my phone in case I hate what's on the plane.
