Citadel Hill, Peggy's Cove, maybe a trip to Lunenberg or Kejimakujik.

      >Peggy's Cove
I was dragged along for a roadtrip to Nova Scotia and with my family about 15 years ago.
Peggy's Cove was one of the things we saw, I didn't have high expectations and it was still very underwhelming from what I remember. Kind of cool to see the maritime area and way of life, but besides that it was just a lighthouse with some rocks around it by the ocean and I didn't get much out of it.
On the way there we stopped in Saint John, New Brunswick for a relaxing day and that was actually very comfy. It was cool to walk around and see the bay with boats going around.

In Nova Scotia we went on a boat to see some whales, and there happened to be some festival going on where locals were doing things, not sure what was called. One of their events had people trying to run across barrels floating in the water.
All that was cool, but everything else was completely forgettable. We went to some museums and historical stuff and I can't remember anything about it.

      road trips
just drive around, stop at beaches, smoke legal weed, eat fish and chips, sea food, visit museum, party a little in cities
for must sees see + fundy bay

it's very isolated and comfy, i don't like their donair sandies, it's too sugary, but I don't tell them because they're very proud of it.

it's boomer city in summer, i go there early fall when kids are back to school

if you're a group go fish, multiple pricepoints and adventures

if you're a fan of trailer park boys, you can explore the filming locations

Hahahahahaha Quebec cucks declaring "independence" and not sucking at the teat of government money. Thanks for the laugh anon, I needed that. Oh yes, French military tactics... Hahahahahaha. You're a real comedian.

While I understand that a region going independent usually leads to poor optics on the parent country, I think we should give Quebec this one. They cost us tax dollars, they impose the French language on other provinces, and they don't even vote in any meaningful way. I fully support Quebec independence if it means we no longer have to deal with them anymore.

I would also like to get rid of the garbage heap that is Ontario, but I'm already asking a lot.

Since you clearly just hate Canada why don't you advocate for your province to leave instead?

Ontario and Quebec are hardly Canadian provinces themselves. They might as well just break off and call themselves Nouvelle Pakistan.

Without Ontario (let alone Ontario + Quebec) there would be no Canada, end of.
            Also:
South Asian population in Alberta: 297,650 (7.1%)
South Asian population in Quebec: 90,335 (1.1%)
Quebec has a lower percentage of South Asians (and visible minorities in general) than all four western provinces.

We already have no Canada, thanks to Pozztario. If it makes you feel better, we can call it western separation.

              >Quebec has a lower percentage of South Asians (and visible minorities in general) than all four western provinces.
To be fair, I actually don't hate Quebec as a standalone culture or region, but I wish for their independence anyway because they are too much of a financial burden for the west. And if your number salad is actually real, then all the more reason to separate.

I'm not talking about Ontario. Ontario is what it is. You called out Quebec so I called you out on your hypocrisy:
                >Ontario and Quebec are hardly Canadian provinces themselves. They might as well just break off and call themselves Nouvelle Pakistan.
                Also

I don't see any direct contradictions.

                >Quebec is hardly a Canadian province
They didn't even want to be a Canadian province in the first place. I'm letting them know it's okay for them to separate. They are dead weight.

                >Nouvelle Pakistan
That was actually meant to be tongue-in-cheek mostly aimed at Ontario. Ontario is the province with the most browns and makes the most concessions for the French. Quebec can tag along for the ride, I don't care what they do once they're independent.

                >Put down the mickey and pick a lane
Okay, we have no Canada. The west is really trying to avoid being pozzed, but you might be right, it could be too late. Thanks, Ottawa.

                >They didn't even want to be a Canadian province in the first place
Quebec is one of the four provinces that formed Confederation. Quebec has been Canadian longer than any of the western nu-provinces. They also literally voted in a referendum in 1995 to stay in Canada.
                >They are dead weight
Just because your province doesn't receive equalization payments from Quebec doesn't mean Quebec is a dead weight to Canada. 'berta will be a dead weight when demand for fossil fuels inevitably tanks and perpetually myopic conservatives refuse to diversify their economy.
                >makes the most concessions for the French
Ontario has over 1.5 million French speakers and isn't the only province outside of Quebec with a significant francophone population. Typical ignorant bullshit from the west.
                >it could be too late.
Yep it's too late, crazy how 'berta and Sask are painted red on election day now

The pinnacle of their cuisine is "Halifax donair." So not only is it more of the same uninspired middle eastern food that western Europe catches a lot of flak for, it's middle eastern food, but COVERED IN SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK. Jesus Fricking Christ.

I'm from Newfoundland and it's really nice here (in the summer) I wouldn't spend too much time in St. John's, it's nice lots of druggies and immigrants there, I'd rather explore more smaller communities. The people are great here, the people are hospitable and kind and our heritage is different from that of the rest of Canada, we're often referred to as the most Irish place outside of Ireland but we also have our unique culture that I recommend you look up if you're interested in that. The nature is really nice too if you like hiking or riding atv's there are lots of trails everywhere you go. The food is nothing to write home about but it's good enough, lots of fish.
Public transportation is a fricking joke here so you'll probably need to rent a car or bring your own to the island via ferry
    >TL:DR Newfoundland has good people, culture and nature but don't spend too much time in the city like most tourists do

I'd like to do a summer trip here. Is Halifax or St. John's a better destination? I like nature but still want to be reasonably close to restaurants and coffee shops. Cape Breton looks amazing but Halifax seems like a terrible jumping off point to see it.
