Odense, Aarhus and Esbjerg (although I have no idea if there's anything to do in Esbjerg) are pretty close by, Flensburg in Germany also isn't that far.
There is nothing to do in esbjerg. It's a made up industrial/port city, it even has the american grid layout.
Nearby Ribe is pretty nice though.

there's absolutely frick all to do in all of Fyn
Silkeborg area by far the prettiest. But there's charm to most of Yutland and Fuenen. Woods. Lakes.
