Most Spiritural Countries?

I want to have a spiritual experience while traveling. Life of Pi type shit.

Is there any trip you've taken that really fundamentally changed your world view?

Where did you go and how did it change you?

I remember reading a story of an anon solo traveling through Mexico, saying how for the first time in his life he felt truly free, like an agent of his own destiny. I want to feel that

    >did a trip change your worldview?
No. I tend to cast a lot of doubt on people who can say a vacation fundamentally changed their entire world view simply because different country. If you're talking about a change in lifestyle and desires (say living like they do in Spain/Thailand vs USA/Japan work-life hell) then that makes sense to me, but otherwise, no. If your fundamental views of the world are so fragile they can be changed easily, it means you're simply moronic or never put any real thought into what it is you actually believe. You're better off reading books for that.
The only true spiritual experience, imo, is a religious one, a western muslim going to Mecca or a christian at St. Peters is a concession I'll make.
    >an anon said he felt truly free because he was traveling in mexico, i want to feel that
The destination won't really matter for that, you're free to get in your car and go on a road trip wherever you want right now. There is no magic dirt to change you.

Guess what homosexual? Wisdom and knowledge comes from hard work and intense study... you're some instant gratification homosexual who thinks he can download an app to get his enlightenment. So tell you what. Why dont you empty your bank account on a trip to New Zealand go get fricked up on box wine, bang a couple German girls, take some mount doom photos and come back telling everyone how it "changed you". Lazy weak homosexual, frick fasting for 40 days and 40 nights and abstaining from instant gratification, just go online and grab a plane ticket to your actualized self, thats exactly how it works gay

99% of people who have a spiritual experience just end up taking psychedelics somewhere other than home. No, you will never have a magical Life of Pi experience if you're sober, no matter where you go

if you truly had a spiritual life-changing experience you wouldn't be saying this

Start by meditating, you wont have a spiritual experience if you cant decide where to travel by yourself.
