Moving to San Diego

Hey there, 25 y/o dude moving to north SD.

Looking for cool spots that no one visits or that you have enjoyed, I spent internships so I have already done all the tourist stuff. Looking for niche things you like doing anon.

Pic related: places I am looking forward to going to.

To share some places I think you guys might enjoy here are my "secret" spots:

    >Arslan's Gyros
Awesome place to get affordable Gyros and the staff have crazy stories.

    >Los Penasquitos Canyon Open Space
Weird trails that very few people walk hidden behind suburbs but clear view of the ocean and fun terrain.

    >UTC Hidlalao (or whatever it's called)
Cool restaurant that makes you feel like you are in the PRC.

    >Calypso Cafe
Cafe in a car-centric suburb (lame) however half the streets in the suburb are waterways like Venice.

    A few more:

    >Black's beach trail
A paved trail with a wild incline and a nude beach at the bottom, great workout

    >Mount Soledad
    Best view in the city.

    >PB Pub
Going here will change you (for the worse)

Those locations are all in south county, but aren't that far. Not sure what the one in Chula Vista is.
I live around Oceanside. I like the downtown night market but the beaches there are lame. Go to Del Mar or Carlsbad.
Eat virtually any of the billion
      taco burrito shops.
Mt. Palomar very fun if you have a motorcycle too.
      Anza Borrego desert.
Asian food and weeb stores on Convoy St

If you're a real cool guy you take the goat trail to the beach instead of the paved path. That's the "gay" north side of the beach though... Ho Chi Minh trail also to the south, the "hetero" (African tier tit sag) side.

The one in Chula Vista is a gaming cafe.

Oceanside was a shit show when I was there, so many people and cars and cops ticket you for jumping the cliffs.

        >Anza Borrego desert
        Why? Whats there

        >Weeb store
Is it the one with the tables and MTG stuff

          >Oceanside was a shit show
Are you thinking of the sunset cliffs in Ocean Beach? I can't think of where there's cliffs in Oceanside unless you go down to Carlsbad. Sunset Cliffs are a shit show, especially since Instagram became popular. There's some good food in OB but there's way too much riff raff, junkies, panhandlers, etc.
          >Whats there
It's just a place to go if you like desert stuff. Like Joshua Tree but different. Nice this time of year. A lot of stuff out there for offroad vehicles but you can hike around other parts of the state park. Gets popular in the spring when wildflowers bloom. It's also near the Salton Sea, Slab City, stuff that's kind of interesting.
          >Is it the one with the tables and MTG stuff
Idk I'm not really into that, I go for the food. There's also a Book Off and some other gaming/anime/manga shops.

Annie's Canyon Trail. If you're in North SD, go to Salt Creek beach and grab a drink at Young’s Beach Shack and then go check out the park and the beach. If you want to get your ass kicked on a road bike, or you have a e-bike, there are some epic paved trails that start at Salt Creek and go up through the canyon on the Salt Creek path.

The Three sisters Falls trail is amazing after a rainstorm when it's flowing. Cedar Creek Falls nearby is really good too.

If you're into wine or trying to get laid, take a date to Temecula and do a wine tour.

          >Three sisters Falls
I've always wanted to go there but have never gotten around to organizing a trip before it gets hot. It gets played up a lot as "dangerous" because people have done stupid things and died there.
          >Salt Creek beach
That shit mogs anything we have in San Diego but I hate going to OC. I just don't like the vibe of the place. It's very uptight, way too many trophy wife white women and high expectation asians. SD is a lot more grunge and easy going.
          >trying to get laid
          Tijuana

I don't mess with hookers. I partake in an occasional AMP squeezer, but that's as far as I'll go. If you mess with Tijuana hookers, you will catch an STD.

My favorite spot in OC is on the Balboa Peninsula in Newport. Bring some fire wood and have a bonfire at the Balboa pier fire pits. Just make sure to play it cool and keep the alcohol in unmarked containers. The only people I've ever seen that get into trouble in Newport are the LA nogs that come on the weekends in the summer and try to shoplift from 7-11 and the liquor store. They catch them literally every time because they stick out like a sore thumb.
