You'll probably get stopped by the police for walking suspiciously far.

      not in central park

Sure. It's not very big. It's like 4 km x .7 km. Even zig-zagging is very doable.

      Kek.
      It's 4 km x 800 m.
      Not a distance at all.

      But is it dangerous?

4km is quite a bit though. Its not impossible but it would take 40-50 min to walk that

try walking 35km, which in have done
couldn't use my legs for two weeks after that 'walk', but I was untrained and had little food

Yea for sure 99% people could do it no problem but i wouldnt say its a daily walk

what? i would walk 3km to school every day and then back, so thats 6km. it would take me about 20 min in each direction. and that wasnt even considered living far away, some kids lived even further.

what? it was in a city, what difference does it mame though? distance is distance, its gonna be easier to walk through a flat area in a city than countryside with hills.

It makes a difference because in a city there's way more obstacles and you cant just walk over a field.
For example, my office is 3km away "bird distance" i.e if i just draw a straight line
In reality I have to walk around a lot and it would in reality be like a 6km walk.
It takes me 25-30 min to commute with bus and metro to get there every day. Theres no way im walking that every day

okay, it was 3km of actual walking in the city, not bird distance, 6km both ways.

3km in 20 minutes would be 9km/h. There's no way you walked that fast. Normal full grown adult walking speed is about 6km/h = 6km/60min = 1km/10min.

Anon, I have a very average job in a grocery store and I walk 4km before lunch.
You realize the recommended (and very popular) daily goal is 10k steps per day right? That equals to 6km or about 55-60 minutes per day.

I am at work for 9 hours. My commute to and from is about 1h on average.
                I sleep for 8 hours
I have 6 hours of free time

homie i dont have time to walk 6 hours per day

Walking from one end to another takes about 40 minutes so it all depends on if if you plan to stay more than a day at each sightseeing point.

what a fricking idiot this swedish guy is to think that i calculate commute distance by fricking sky distance. fricking mongoloid. walking 3km is absolutely nothing, its a 25 min commute that i had done for years. the only thing that makes a difference is elevation. obviously 3km uphill commute is gonna be way worse but its still doable.
