Vegas is not a good place to be on a limited budget and sober. Go see a show- Ka and Absinthe are good. There are world class restaurants in every hotel. Pick whatever cuisine you want and make a reservation. Most of them are closed Monday. People watching is free and incredible in Vegas. I enjoy wandering around the strip but this time of year it's not possible because it'll be 115 degrees there. Rent a car for a day and go see the grand canyon. You'll be burned out on Vegas after 48 hours so a grand canyon trip on day 3 would break it up nicely. If you want to gamble cheap, get away from the strip. Go to Ellis Island or Silver Sevens where you can play $5 blackjack.

There are some good museums in Vegas.
The atomic testing museum is really cool.
The mob museum is kinda neat.
There's a "pinball museum" which is just a warehouse full of vintage pinball machines you can play.
There are also a couple of auto museums.
Then there's Omega Mart and the rest of the stuff at area 15.
If you like nature you can drive to the grand canyon or Zion National Park.
      Lots of options.

Big thanks for the info guys!

I really enjoyed Meow Wolf / Omega Mart. Make sure you get the swipe card in the coat check rooms and plan to spend a few hours. I went at close and ended up getting kicked out before I got to explore everything.

    Where are you staying OP?

I can recommend some places, but need to know where abouts you'll be and whether you'd be able to reach places that would need a car or taxi to visit.

Why visit Vegas if you don’t drink or do drugs? If you also don’t gamble it’s baffling why you would even go…

Put the money others would have spent on drugs, gambling and alcohol and go to a nice resort where you can stay the whole time. If you're really low key go to the Hilton lake las vegas

rent a city bike and go to wednesday night social rides hosted by crank and grind bike shop on the north "freemont st" downtown area. i think they rent out bikes themselves as well. probably way cheaper than renting a city bike for a few hours

lots of by the slice pizza places should have lots of free pizza at the end of the night. ask the front counter or just dig through the trash. theres some really good pizza out here

Vegas is fricking expensive. The buffets are no longer subsidised ways of hotels trying to out-compete each other. When you're paying $70pp you may as well eat at a nice restaurant and order enough to fill you up.

The Circus Circus buffet is cheap, the MGM one is a good quality:price balance but it only does "brunch".

There's an In'n'Out in the Linq promenade but it gets packed

It's way too fricking hot to do a cheap vegas trip. The only free shit is hiking or walking around and it's 110 degrees right now.

If you must, stick to the hotel pool during the day. Bring your own own drinks to the pool to save money. At night, walk the strip. Go to Fremont Street. The best cheap food in the city is Shish Kabob House on West Flamingo. Viet Noodle Bar is god tier and really cheap. Everyone loves the Eataly food court. There are a bunch of awesome Ramen places on Spring Mountain, but who wants hot soup when it's 110 degrees outside? In and Out Burger is always good. The Vegas South Outlets have cheap Nike's. There are free bands playing outside at night on Fremont street on the weekends. You could drive up to Mount Charleston to escape the heat and do some hiking. Fletcher Canyon and Mary Jane Falls are both good little hikes. It'll be like 80 up there with a nice breeze. If you run out of shit do to, the Red Rock casino has an awesome bowling alley and the casino is cool. The Venetian has an indoor mall that is themed to look like Venice. Don't get food there, but it's cool to walk around.

Hoover dam, Valley of Fire and Red Rock are all great, but they will be unbearably hot during the day right now.

Buy an acoustic guitar from guitar center. Learn Between the Bars by Elliot Smith. Go to Fremont Street at night and busk that song. Make $7.
