pakistan travel tips

hey SighSeebros, SighSeegay here looking for here
I'm a health consultant for a multinational electronics company and I conduct training on MRI and other types of imaging paraphernalia for hospitals around the world. corporate wants me to go to pakistan and do training there for a week or two. I was told that I'd be training english-speaking pakis and I'll be sleeping in a good hotel close to the hospital I'm lecturing at but I'm still scared shitless. I've interacted with pakis on SighSee and /misc/ and they seem ok but I'm aware I was talking to the terminally-online version of pakis then.
So, I need whatever tips you have. How to behave, how much Urdu should I learn, what things should I hide when in public, what to eat, what not to say, what to say, etc. I don't even know what to expect from pakistan, I've been to Turkey and it was survivable and actually pretty cool sometimes so I guess I have a footing in this case.
crappy picrel because I lost my frog folder
thanks in advance,

lived in pak for just over a year
      >lahore
shithole. i find punjabis to be the worst race in pakistan. see the mosques, anarkali, gawalmandi, and then get out.
      >karachi
big, dirty, chaotic. like cairo. if you like big cities you'll like it
      >peshawar
my city. smaller than the above, but still quite frantic; less developed, more dangerous, but more sovlfvl. pashtuns are cool. cool to be able to drive across the khyber pass at will.
      >islamabad
most civilised place in pak. planned, gridlike city. relatively clean, quiet, chill, but boring as a result. nice hikes in the hills close by; 4 hr drive from lahore, 2hr drive from peshawar. if you still want the comforts of the west, stay here.
      >pindi
like a smaller lahore attached to ISB.
      >balochistan
visit if you can get the permits

thanks already bros. it's already more info than I already have.
my main issue is currently how much can english help me go through it, especially because of pakistan being multilingual. will they even understand me? I'm not a natural anglophone so I think it's simple enough for any basic english speaking person

do you have any comparisons as to how dangerous pakistan is? like, is it more or less dangerous than latin america or eastern europe?

        >dangerous
it's not dangerous bro it's news memes tricking you. if work is inviting you, i guess you'll either be in isb, karachi, or lahore. none of these cities are dangerous, and islamabad is probably safer than any big american city. lahore is a big city with a decent amount of poverty, so just keep your head on a swivel after dark. in islamabad you have nothing to worry about anytime. karachi is another big city that has the same big city problems as any other developing country; maybe you'll get unlucky and get mugged, but with nowhere near the likelihood of that happening anywhere in south america. sure a bomb goes off in karachi a few times a year, but it's a city of 20 million people. just keep an eye on the news at the moment as there is a bit of political unrest surrounding the arrest of imran khan, so there will be all of the above cities, but just don't go to them. enjoy pakistan and relax, you'll have lots of fun and laugh afterwards at the fact that you ever worried.

Was also in Pakistan for a half-year, and your summary of Pakistan's major cities comes off as a list of stupid memes.

I was in Pakistan a few months and it seems more or less true. I wouldn't go to to Balochistan though.

Lahore is the only place in Pakistan that I've been to. Honestly, the people there were very nice on the whole. Maybe they're buttholes if you're from the region, but as a white person, they were very friendly.

        Seconding this.

I spent about six months in Pakistan. Lahore was, bar-none, my favorite city. However, I also speak Hindi-Urdu and made a lot of local friends. It felt safer and more dynamic than Karachi, and was significantly more interesting than Islamabad (although I did enjoy hiking in and around Islamabad).

I honestly didn't find Peshawar very interesting, but I didn't spend much time there, either.

they are closest to indians so it makes sense, India should annex these pajeets back so pakistan becomes whiter

I worked in Karachi for 6 months. If you're just working don't sweat it. Pakistanis are very homosexual and moronic towards whites. They will simp for you.

Chances are you will find the city to be disgusting and chaotic. Don't bother trying to force yourself to "enjoy" it. There is very little to enjoy. Their culture is fake and built on top of something their ancestors destroyed fairly recently. They are all islamofascist weirdos, so giving them money via tourism is stupid.

As for how you should behave just ignore anyone on the street who tries to talk to you. They don't like you, they just want your money.

Face to face be professional. If you are too casual with pakis they will assume you are also homosexual and will proposition you for anal sex. Pakistan runs on anal sex. Women are very difficult to access for average workers and laborers, so they all frick each other from a very young age. It's an entire country full of cringe brown poopdicks. Don't take it seriously. Do your job and get out.

Never listen to an actual Paki tell you about Pakistan, they are biased and won't tell you anything valuable to a white foreigner.
