Give more hints will ya or else this thread is as good as dead. The only hint I can see from these images are chinese language. And from OP's pic, a generic pagoda. And Mainland China alone has thousands of them.

I think that pic was taken at Hong Kong airport, maybe. There was Chinese writing all over the place but I could've mistaken it as Beijing or Shanghai. I was in Hong Kong 10 years ago but I remember that roof's design and the departure gate. Never saw that weird robot/slide? though...

Somewhere here, overlooking Da Nang. Your Aquafina bottle (not many countries sells them), the plants (reminds me of plants common in SEA countries) and the skyline gave you away. But I can't confirm because that place don't have Street View.

Yep. Pretty hard. From the surroundings, I am 100% sure the pic was taken somewhere in Fertile Crescent. But the ruined building though, can be anything, from tombs, old forts, castles, mosques, old churches, anything. Because literally everything there are in ruins. But those three guys look like tourists, so most likely the ruins are within a safe zone, and hold historical values instead of a random building within a conflict zone damaged by bombs. So most likely Jordan. But Oman is a possibility too...

Jordan is right. It's taken not too far from this town:

I'll start looking for hints, starting with that red vehicle and blue tower in the distance. I can't rely on the building at the center because it look too generic. But I do get some European vibes from this pic. Probably Italy, Germany, or somewhere around Danube River. Or maybe North America...

        what gave it away?

The red vehicle seems to be Volkswagen so I went straight to Germany for obvious reasons. Then I looked for any cities with rivers as wide as that. Then I looked for any islands or estuaries that looked like that. The anon above mentioned Munich too so I spend more time looking at that city. That's how I found it.

It's absolutely Mexico. They're the only ones who make absolutely everything including fenceposts out of cement. But where? I have no idea. Could be any of the northern states.

          Anonymous

You might be correct. I searched for road signs and Mexican "End of Pavement" road sign looks exactly like that. And 'alto' is a spanish word too. Will concentrate on northwest Mexico, around Baja. Hopefully I will find it

            Anonymous

It might be an old picture. A lot of the dirt roads in Baja have been upgraded to pavement in the last 10 years.

Gave up for now. Jumping around featureless desert using Street View gave me mild depression. I hate sand. But I'm convinced it is around Baja. The road sign, white fenceposts, single yellow stripe road divider, random white pavement by the roadside, the 'alto' word.

Okay so the wording on the right building is definitely Մր․ Հուկա or Mr. Hookah. And when I typed "Mr. Hoo" on Google Maps, it autocorrected to "Mr. Hookah" and brought me straight to Yereven. But the problem is, Yereven don't have reliable Street View, and the building where Mr. Hookah's placemarker is on, doesn't look even closely similar to that pic.

Sorry big boi, the snails and the water were the clues but I guess there’s nothing specific. You’re right, it’s Cambodia. Specifically somewhere around 13.298905, 103.829566

Not him, but I’ve had Cambodian and several other snails. They basically just taste like whatever you dress them with. Garlic butter, chili paste and fish sauce, etc. It’s more of a texture thing (very chewy, slightly rubbery).
