Can you renew your passport abroad without any problem? how was the process, smooth?
I renewed while in Korea. You cannot get the full 10 year while abroad but it was not too difficult. Just had it poked and prodded the first time I had to travel anywhere with it, but after I got that initial fingering over with it was no problem.

Just gonna say, one time I had an SUV set up as a camper and tried to cross into Canada. They asked me how much money I had. Since I just wanted to drive from Windsor to Niagara Falls, I told them the amount I intended to spend on that trip. They then decided to deny me entry to Canda and made me sign a document promising to leave Canada immediately, with no ban on a future return. I have not been across since - that was May 2015.
