Rhodes, Greece

So I am going to Rhodes in a few days, usual normal gay summer holidays and whatnot.
Since I'll stay a couple of weeks, is anything worthy of doing/sightseeing or whatever? I have a car rented.
Places to eat? Some recommendations? Nudist beaches?
Thanks.

Faliraki was once ground zero for degenerate British tourists. I spent 2 weeks there back in the day (oldgay). I often wonder what its like these days.

I second Lindos. Also, Prasonisi beach, ferry to Simi, Kritinia castle for the view, walk up to Monte Smith and the Acropolis of Rhodes for more views, Archangelos village, Kallithea springs, butterfly valley, and the Colossus. All normie recs, but well worth your time nonetheless. Also visit the old town and castle ofc.

Last I heard, they were trying to rebrand Faliraki. A similar Brit paradise can be found on an alley in the town of Rhodes, next to the big hotels by the sea.

Why would you go to such an ordinary, normie, brit abroad destination?

Have you learnt any of the local language before you go? Here's some useful phrases
    >oi oi savaloy
    >get in there!
    >who are ya? Who are ya?
    >you havin a laff?
    >get your breasts out for the lads

      Helpful phrases when ordering food:
      >oi sinyor, got any sausage rolls?
      >AH SAID. SOH-SIJ ROLLS. DO YOU AV EM?
      >I ain't eatin this foreign muck m8. Disgusting.

I am going in August to see the old town, I'm also getting the boat from the harbour to Tilos island to do some basking in the sun away from the plebs

I would recommend to try scuba diving if you haven't.

If you are into urbex there are few good sites I know. There is this old abandoned hotel resort a bit out from the town of Rhodes. There is also the excellent abandoned municipal theater. There is a set of abandoned buildings and structures from the Italian structure. I could search my phone for the locations if anyone is interested.

Lindos, Monolithos, Kamiros, Butterfly Valley. There's a bunch of monasteries you can hike if you're into that.

There is one monastery in Rhodes that a monk brought some peawieners and now the grounds have quite a flock of peawieners that live there. It is Mount Filerimos. I think when I went the actual monastery was closed and I couldn't explore as much so I am not that sure if it is worth visiting, but I enjoyed seeing the peawieners and it is very close to the town of Rhodes.

the italian ghost town of Campochiaro is a place to visit

    OP here,
I am in Rhodes. So far so good but
    1. Yes it is absolutely Britbong paradise here. So much blondness it hurts; i am Italian and me and my wife are already neger-tanned and people give me looks. Even greeks themselves are whiter than me. Weather is lovely, hot and dry.
But anyway people seems good and educated. Prices has skyrocketed since my last visit in greece 5 years ago
    2. The rhodes old town is very nice. Better a nice afternoon till night visit, both for the people and the evening lights. Really nice so far best urban place I've seen here. The colossus is a fricking nothing, just two small columns with some deer statues over them. WTF wat a disappointment.
    3. Been to Lindos and the town was very nice but didn't really excited me for some reason, maybe felt that old town was more worth my while. But a nice place anyway, but damn so much crowd and a fricking taxi non stop conveyor belt.

I will see the peawiener location and maybe the ghost town. I have a full week ahead, still. Thanks

If you are staying in Rhodes town check out the abandoned former municipal theater. It was easy to get into when I went in 2019. I don't know about now.

There are plans to renovate it:
      https://www.ekathimerini.com/culture/1179916/iconic-national-theater-of-rhodes-to-be-restored-and-reopened/

So if you don't urban explore it now, you may never get the chance.

Also I think the short 5d movie they have in Rhodes town is worth seeing at least once.

Also there is a go karting venue a bit outside of Rhodes. I like karting when I go to Greece because it is cheap and it is catered for adults. Unlike where I live in NJ where most go kart arenas are meant for kids and thus suck.

Lol, the colossus recommendation was an attempt at a little trolling. Check out this epic prank https://www.reddit.com/r/tifu/comments/vmcf1z/tifu_had_my_mom_and_her_friend_spend_3_hours_of/

      The rest are legit

tho. Definitely use the ferries to either Simi or Tilos. Surprised you didn't enjoy Lindos. The nearby beach is really nice, and the acropolis is great for seeing buildings from many different time periods.

Get your ass on a ferry and go to Symi. It's beautiful, easily the highlight of my trip.

Tilos is better than Symi, far fewer annoying tourists

    OP here,
another update. Went to Symi and was a nice cruise overall, since I got it kinda cheap? The little town is better overall than the usual but I won't scream it over Rhodes old town of course. But that's maybe because I went to other similar towns in the mediterranean and I'm kinda used to them.

About the colossus is a fricking Nothing more than else because it's a popular free parking spot and I've parked the car there more than once. And I've happened to be near the colossus lol. I bet those ancient greeks wouldn't know how shitty their majestic place would fall to.
Also went to the southern beach where the two seas meet, and caught more wind in a single day than the last 6 months or so, and I live in a windy area.
Basically you go there pay a visit but forget a day at the beach. Water's colder, too.
About Lindos, it's not THAT bad but I do feel that's simply overrated. I kinda feel that, since south of lindos there's fricking nothing, and you have to do about an hour drive for the Rhodes city, I guess it's... the best you can do down there? My wild guess.

On a side note, this vacation confirmed me that white girls are the best looking in the world. Lots of northern Europeans here, and I do feel that german girls have the edge overall the british.
It's fricking feet paradise. If you like the bottom half of women, there's so much to see and I can confirm that nothing beats white, well kept women. Greek girls are so so, but I'm a med myself so I'm kinda used to the type, but are much more white than someone could expect being next to Turkey.

    >thanks for readin my blog, again

white girls are ugly and have no ass.Especially Northwestern European women with orange monkey masculine faces and no ass...And if ur standards of beauty is ugly British girls

You havent seen NAFRI and Middle East goddesses with perfect proportions and mog white women

Dunno anon. You have a point but that's my experience here, right now. I'll have my flight this day but still have some of said white girls in front of me and the orange monkey ass lacking are few and far in between. Mostly are fine ands the blonde hair and white skin is better.

Ciao op, I don't know if you left already or you're still there. Do you have any plan to visit the abandoned Italian city of Campochiari? I remember a cool YT video I saw about it years ago, it's a small settlement all built in rationalist and fascist architecture, I'm into these things (rationalism and 30s style buildings, not fascism) so I was curious
