Anons, I am planning to spend Saint Patricks day in Dublin, Ireland.
Where are the best areas for parties and bar hopping the whole day? I am 30y.
Also, which daytime does it start?
Whats your recommendation?
Also, Saint Patricks Day /general/.

In California, at least in some towns, Saint Patricks Day starts at 6 am. No idea how the Irish are doing this.
dont wear green, locals dont
I went to this place after midnight, people were legit praising IRA and chanting tunes after 15th or so pint kek, its a fantastic place

its a hit or miss, its not as unique as you'd like it to be, if you have celebrated the event in Boston for example. its still good fun.
Why
Native Dub scumbag here
Frick Temple Bar. Go for a look if you want but I wouldn't waste any time going for a drink there
Other than that, Dublin is small enough you'll easily be able to just walk around and see what looks good. There's a crazy number of bars/pubs of different vibes all within short walking distance (even when adjusted for Turbolard yanks)
Only thing to remember is that it's all about the King now rather than the Queen, so if you're singing the anthem it's "God Save the King"
There's a pub on Pearse Street that doesa free pint for the best and loudest singer, just ask if they are "RA friendly" (royal anthem)
Don't go to Dublin. I guarantee you it would be better to go to Galway or frick even Cork would be better. The Dublin parade is the most plasticy thing imaginable meant to attract Oirish tourists. Most other parades across the country has some sense of actual Irishness to it.
All that said the best thing you can do is stay away from the city centre and you'll probably get a half-decent experience somewhere to the North-East/South of the city.
Frick you and your shitty city.
Culchie
The moment I never have to set foot in Dublin will be a joyous occasion. Enjoy getting stabbed.
Like Waterford is any better lmao
If you're not out diffin with the lads you're shagging your dads
>he thinks I live in Waterford
lmao
Don't lie, Ethan
Your quasi-humorous banter at the end makes me think that you must be saying that Temple Bar is actually good. And that suits me cos I'll be there in a few days.
go to belfast instead
You are not Irish. You will never be Irish. You are just a disgusting mutt and even the Irish hate you
I am actually Austrian, but please go on
Then how come everytime I meet some locals that are distant relatives of my family?
visit the pubs
I'm Irish and live in Dublin. It can be nice but Paddy's day is absolute shite and not even worth going out for unless you want to be literally fleeced and surrounded by Brazilians I'm temple bar.
I was gonna go but I looked at photos and it's all tall good looking people and I'm 5'9" and fugly so I didn't wanna impose.
Savannah GA is a good place for st Patrick's Day
Is Ireland good to visit now in general? Is there anything worth doing there? Any culture? idk if there's any reason to go though if I won't make any friends or do anything interesting outside of sightseeing.
Got a group going for a few days in March. Whats a better city out of tralee, galway, or dingle? Drinking and site seeing I guess. I was placed in charge of this shit.
