It's the American healthcare system and just American attitude towards mental illness in general. It's finally starting to catch up with us though. Almost every big city in the country has streets filled with people talking to themselves and shitting in the street and nobody knows what to do about it. People just call everyone they see like this homeless and think throwing money at them will solve the problem.
