Lodging in Japan isn't really that expensive all things considered. Sure you can spend on a fancy room, but there are plenty of options otherwise
>Lodging in Japan isn't really that expensive all things considered
It is in Tokyo. Even compared to other cities in Japan the value for money is woeful, which really is something with how many places are available.
I lived in Tokyo for less than $500 per month, travel in Japan is a skill issue
What kind of skills are we talking about here? Dining and dashing? Sleeping in prison cells?
Not really. You can find business hotels for like 6 or 7k yen
toyoko inn for 8 days added up to like $500
This guy started as le reddit man and then 4chimps started simping him
i've never seen anything positive about him on SighSee.
Ever since his episode "Adam ruins the holocaust"
That episode is as real as the holocaust itself
I used airbnb in Tokyo for 25 dolans per night with no problem. It is only illegal if the police catches You.
What the frick are you talking about? I don't follow Murriclap "celebrities" so I don't know how whoever that is supposedly ruined AirBnB (worldwide?)
It's some huckster who has hot takes on things. Herbs.
When was Airbnb made illegal in Japan? I stayed for a month in an Airbnb in Tokyo just in November. I looked up the legality of it at the time, and saw nothing that said Airbnb was illegal and had no issues personally the entire time I was there.
It's not illegal it's only limited for residents to market their house for a maximum of 180 days per year
this man is clearly a homosexual
good for him; doesnt make him any less right or wrong though

Hostels in Tokyo for $8-12 a night
Apartments for $400-800 a month outside Tokyo prefecture
Stop being moronic, if it was actually illegal then there would be no airbnb in Japan avaliable. Melatonin is restricted in Japan, Flouride toothpaste is restricted in Japan, withdrawing more than 50,000¥ from the ATM is restricted in Japan, getting an Airbnb is not. Unless you want to frick around and find out the apartment rental system in Japan, keep using Airbnb, Agoda or Booking.com

the problem is its hard to rent an apartment for just a few weeks as a tourist, and it sucks to stay in a hostel more than a few days.
Based, AirBnB made it impossible to find a house to buy/rent in my city, so frick them.
I hate this smug leftist homosexual so fricking much it's unreal. He has the most punchable fricking face If I ever see him I am then on a holy mission to break his fricking nose FRICK I hate Adam Conover.
ABNB is fukin based I think its becoming one of those iconic American things that is infecting the world and destroying it which is always cool. Getting to hang out in a house 2023 I went to Yucatan and in the downtown and felt the vibes of the place it was a moment i'll never forget totally worth doing
>is illegal in Japan
It isn't but ok
Sure, hotels are a bit more expensove now than before the rona, but not crazy expensive
