Does it really have the best nightlife in the Balkans? And what else is there to do? Allegedly it is very underrated and more interesting than Athens, is that true?

Yeah, it's pretty dope, but it might be hard to mingle with locals. Go on a pub crawl or stay in a hostel to make some friends.
What would be some good spots for having a great night out with the lads? And how about the local girls, are they cool to hang out with or more closed off?
They go to sit at a restaurant to eat then go to sit at a bar to drink. It never felt wild being there but people like going out daily. Every night they are out until 2 in the morning. I think Thessaloniki has the most bars and restaurants per capita in Europe. I stayed there about 2 months.
It's full of communist pseudo Slavic Greeks that are sissies tbf as people. Don't go, lots of drugs, illegal immigrants and date-raping drugs etc homicides, dissapearings. Don't go.
Let me guess, they also hide drugs in your luggage, right?
its allright i rode trough it on my motorcycle
thats all of europe
Sneed
It's kinda nice. Lots of roof terrace bars and unassuming spots that you wouldn't really know about unless someone shows you or you do some research,
I didn't go to any clubs, we were actually sailing from there, but spend a few nights before and after in Thessaloniki.
I think it's good because there's a lot of young people and it's cheap. It got hit really hard by the economic downturn, so there were a lot of empty spaces that people have opened bars and restaurants in with low overheads.
Downsides are that it's not the more attractive of places, and migrant numbers are growing, I was talking to some girl by the water in the day time and some weird middle eastern migrant threatened us with a blade if we didn't give him money. Fortunately, he was a little runt so I got to have a nice alpha moment and he left with his rat tail between his legs.
I'd love to go sailing, can you book yachting trips there?
There are a few companies that you can book with. Normally you book the whole boat, but sometimes you can share it with other people.
There were 6 of us, and then there was a captain and a first mate./chef. It was 733 euros per person for a week including breakfast and lunch each day - we'd normally have dinner at a port we visited. Definitely worth it to be able to visit so many islands and wake up in some amazing places.
Could have, but I just had this feeling that could beat him up if I had to, even with a knife. I think they know that it wouldn't end well for them if they tried that in such a public space, he was such an angry weird little dude. Would have been more worried if it was night time and we were alone.

How did you handle it? You could have totally gotten stabbed.
You should have beat his ass and left him with his spine snapped
Thessaloniki absolutely doesn't have a better nightlife than Athens. It is overall a more beautiful city though as the city center of Athens looks like a shithole and is only growing as the city gets inundated with uncivilized muslims.
I went there. Lots of snooty college girls catching buses on the main drag who would turn their nose up at you. Walked around that seaside, lots of teens running around (away from you) and eateries. There are some brothels by the industrial docks but it was too far to walk and I would have had a much better time in Athens instead if I didn't go for a Mount Athos boat ride. Those Greeks are really unpleasant, I tell ya.
Mount Athos is closer to Thessaloniki by Chalkidiki moron. You’re not taking a boat ride there from Athens
And yes, Greek women aren’t interested in foreigners unless you are literally a Chad.
>Greek women aren’t interested in foreigners unless you are literally a Chad.
That sounds like a bit of an exaggeration, I'm sure it's not worse than other Southern European countries.
