Going to Tokyo. Anyone know a Hotel with proper Showers. None of those bathtub shower mix shit. Like to stay at a local place but looks like I am forced to stay at a western Hotel chain.

try a capsule hotel. Not only will they have full showers but they will also have a bath where you can check out the ballbags of other foreigners.

I already spend 4k on my Hotel in Okinawa. Tokyo doesn't seem worth to spend more than 120 a night. Gonna be out in the City anyways. Just want a proper Shower.

It is just weird that so many Hotels in Tokyo, that are around 120 to 220 a night, look like they are built in the 90s.

I actually just booked this today. If you're fine with a basic room, no luxuries, then this could be it for you. Shared restrooms and showers, but I've read that they keep it very clean.
I'm going for eight nights and it only cost me 229 US dollars. I booked it on AirBnb.
