Tourist City

I like travelling to the world's most touristic cities. I was recently recomended to do a near-blind visit to a certain place from a guy online. In two weeks I will be visiting the tourism hotspot of Délı̨nę. Post recommendations for things to see, places to do 🙂

    OP

Guys, what the frick. I can't believe some of y'all hung around for a month keeping this thread up. I made the post as a shitpost, mostly because there IS nothing do there. Regardless, I got back three days ago, alive 🙂
I wasn't actually in Délı̨nę for too long since I mostly spent my time at the North arm of the Saoyú-ʔehdacho historic site doing park ranger stuff (work related, not blind travelling, sorry for lying). However, the few days I DID spend in-town were lovely. The community was surprisingly active for how small it is, everyone there was super, super welcoming, especially since it was my first time in their community so they just HAD to show me around the tiny hamlet.
The village is mostly indigenous people, the Sahtú, and I was actually quite shocked at how independent they are, by the way they source food mostly, but it was also really neat to see how much of their culture and especially their wild language they were able to preserve.
At the end of the day, this post was a joke but the trip itself was a memorable experience. Can't say I'd like to go again, but it is charming enough that I can see why some people may go there. So that's my trip report, now you all can stop worrying lol.
