In terms of easy access to millions of acres of diverse natural beauty, no other nation on earth comes close to the USA. Same goes for the rural road network; road-tripping around America is a sheer delight, especially in the warmer months.
However, it is laughable to suggest that American cities are the best in the world. Asian cities mog American cities in most aspects; superior variety of lodging, superior variety of dining, much more energy on the streets, better climate, superior public transit, far lower crime, and all this for a much lower price than you pay in America's inflationary growth bubbles. Environmental carelessness in Asia is the main downside to urban life here. Traffic congestion can be far worse in Asia than in America, but many American cities are extremely congested as well.

Malaysia is well-run; most people live comfortably here. Food is amazingly cheap for what you get. Most people live in kampungs (suburban neighborhoods), drive nice cars, and eat out regularly. Foreigners here complain that they can't buy up property and start businesses, because the Malays come first under the constitution. Tough shit. Take your israelitebucks elsewhere, richgay.

Have you been to Europe? I can't see how you can think it's better unless you're an escapist. Paraguay is much better for escapism

In what way is Paraguay better? It's relatively safe, yes, but Paraguay is a landlocked ugly flatland country. Hardly appealing unless you want to get a spread of your own and live in peace.

American society isn't the best in the world either. Other countries have much higher levels of trust, less strife, less crime, less mental illness, more stable family structures. People make less money than they do in America, for sure, but because everyone in a family shares the burden, they still live a happy and prosperous life. Arguably more prosperous than the typical wagie in America who spends his entire paycheck every month and has all sorts of relationship issues with the people around him. Nobody here is telling people to stop going shopping or to stop going out to eat, as if only rich people who don't work deserve to enjoy such privileges.

Malaysia is the most advanced developing country on Earth, yet somehow prices remain among the world's lowest for lodging and dining. Que? Euro here! Can't speak to eastern europe but in the lower countries it's difficult to find an apartment that doesn't at least give you an option to install a dishwasher (that's most common for cheaper apartments because it's rarely pre install. people bring their own shit with them). Airco is not common (not really needed) however more and more folk do acquire airco because our Summers get warmer and warmer.

We almost never have AC in apartments where I live (Switzerland); it wastes a lot of expensive energy and it’s never all that hot. But literally every holiday apartment I’ve ever rented in other Euro countries has had it, and l can’t remember the last time I was in a European apartment that didn’t have a dishwasher.

Reminder that this country hates you, wants you dead, has zero prospects for women as a sub8 male or property as a gentile or non gen wealther, etc. Go rot in some hick town in Iowa with muh huwhyte people (white people in question most dysgenic worse than jogger tier trash), they would much rather you larp as uncle Ted and keep tabs on you as opposed to you away from their grasp.

This is obviously yet another boring weird bait thread, but I am glad you have arrived at a more or less happy place, content with what you are and have, suspending disbelief to assume that you are speaking truthfully.

As an American who’s spent many years living abroad and traveling, I find that travel has in many ways reinforced my appreciation for some things that the States gets right. There’s better class mobility than in Europe (among other places, but I’ve been living in Europe for the last five years), and greater incentives and rewards for innovation than in a lot of places. It’s admirable and worth appreciating on both counts.

Some things aren’t as good. Politically, the US is a mess, and despite what the above supposed Europoor who claims to have lived in the states claims, social safety nets are an embarrassment for a rich country. Many other places take better care of their poor and less-useful than the US does. Vocational/trade education in the US is inferior to a shitload of others, too.

Both healthcare and income inequality are nothing to be proud of in the US. Urban planning and public transport are both adequate only if you have enthusiastically slurped defensive-stupid-people Kool-Aid; having to drive everywhere is a fricking moron-level handicap setting America behind, not a privilege. Gas sure is cheap, though!

Anyway, sorry for feeding trolls. The US is great in some ways and fricking garbage in others.

I've had the same experience actually. I've become so unimpressed with foreigners and their countries. Yeah, there's so cool stuff in Europe, but it's mostly overrated. Europeans as people are completely moronic. They strangely enough all have their same shtick about being from europe that once you've seen a hundred times becomes nauseating and insincere. Most of the complaints I see about the US seem to mostly just come down to people not being aware this country is a much tougher place than they realized.

One of the most hilarious things I have ever witnessed is the about-face europeans took on "social progress" and whatnot on SighSee circa 2015 or so. In my childhood, they looked down on Americans for being too conservative, too racist, too patriotic, too prudish, too xenophobic and said their influence held back the flourishing of the superior, progressive values of things like tolerating gays, openness to foreign cultures, feminism, etc. Now, they whine that Americans are responsible for feminism, a culture of xenophilia, gays on tv, and sex everywhere all the time. The last one really gets me.

Normie europoors are more insufferable irl but its usually mutt posters who get irrationally triggered over any criticism of their country. Everytime I see some youtube channel praising America, Gayto, etc its always some butthurt belt accent or german

USA has the worst airports. It's to the point where I pay more for my tickets just to not have to go through an american airport

Very funny. Traveling to the US has only confirmed my belief that the US is a shithole. Incredibly poor quality roads. Poor public transport. Every city center has cheap(they look cheap, probably aren't) concrete office buildings. The best thing about the US are the great outdoors. Places Americans haven't yet soiled with their greasy fingers. Rural America has some soul to it, despite it having a very poverty stricken feel.

I agree when it comes to Europe, America just gets more right when put together. I disagree with you. Went to Chile and with nicer people, a higher trust society and a good mix of countryside and cities, (Santiago is underrated) in no way did I want to head back to the US.

I dont like it here at all. I think you're delusional.
    Think about it this way.
    What is a patriots dream?
    >im going to buy land in the middle of nowhere, start a home, raise my family, have nobody bother me.
Is that really praise for the country?
If the biggest dream for the biggest patriots of a country is to totally frick off from society and basically not be part of the country anymore, what do you think that says?
The truth is most of this place is just shit and depressing.

    >the United States is the best country in existence. Every other country is noticeably inferior. And no, I'm not joking.
I've known this for a long time and I haven't left the US even one time.

Whenever I'm out of America I feel like America is a soulless hellhole, one giant shopping mall/ social engineering experiment, that almost anywhere else on earth would be better

I intend to spend the majority of my earnings overseas, going forward. Parts of America are still very idyllic and thoughtfully maintained, but the traveling life is becoming tougher.

        >what's your favourite thing about America
        >ummm being in a car

        Amerislobs everybody

Yes. In America, I do everything in my car but shit and piss.

You mean mountains the middle of nowhere?

That's not an American achievement. That's God's hand.

Highest highs and nearly the lowest lows. Inequality is a b***h, I'd rather live in a white country than risk becoming the victim of violent crime if I visit a town 30 minutes away, despite my own little village being superb.

The only areas the US excels are making money(if remote), nature, and guns. In every other area it’s pretty awful and has the worst social environment in the world with the exception of our 51st state Canada.

As an american I can recall one instance related to this guys story. I was visiting some family in a small town in a flyover state. I had multiple family members who lived in the same town. They were all hanging out at one relatives house and I decided to go back to my aunts. Probably a 2-3 minute walk. All you would have to do is go up the 3 block street and turn left and you were there. One of my cousins seriously asked how I got back on my own. Left me fricking speechless. The tone of the question being asked as if it was some insurmountable task. It was a little hot but not too bad. They acted like I was crazy. God forbid not having air conditioning for 5 minutes.
