travel regrets

The most beautiful woman I saw boarding the train to Valence Ville departing at 14:43, mine for Geneve was 14:44. I sat outside her window & watched her while I smoked, she saw me. I finished my smoke & deliberated, got on the train to go ask for her number, hovered around her coach for 30 seconds & chickened out, left for my train. I missed mine, went back, & the door to hers was closed. Next train to Geneve doesn't leave for another hour. I hung my head in my hands & began hyperventilating, sitting on the platform whence her train departed. I left for the park outside the station, lit another smoke, & buried my face in my arms. A man asked me for a lighter which I let him use. I'm back in the station now writing, knowing not what else to do. I want alcohol. This is Annecy station.

I've passed a lot of girls by in my time, but none has affected me this way. The pull she had, so that I'd actually get on her train, was different. If what I felt was God calling, I can only ask His forgiveness.

    Go to Valence Ville.

Alcohol is refuge for a bit but not an answer, you want to see this girl or one like her, chase a little.

There's 65,000 people in that city. How would I ever find her?

I saw the love of my life on that train. That was God seeing if I have what it takes to become who He wants me to be. If God is willing, I will find her. I will honor Him as best I can.

God, you are pathetic, you are basing this shit only on her appearance
what if she is a whore? what if she has STDs? What if she is a sociopath? what if she is already taken and she is on her way to Valence Ville to get pounded without protection by her millionaire bull?

Grenoble is the bigger city on that line, which is where I'm sitting now. It's tougher to find a place in the middle of foot traffic,—more spread out—so I'm hoping for the best with where I'm at.

I am leaving Grenoble tomorrow for Munich. A Frenchmen told me,(phonetically) "yew lohst herre."

The only thing I know how to do is to keep on keeping on, like a bird that flew, tangled up in blue.
