What country has the best weather in those months. Does it get cold in Vietnam in December, or should I go somewhere more south.

>Does it get cold in Vietnam in December
dunno about you anon but on my planet we have this thing called wikipedia
How is it still that hot in winter? Humans aren't suppose to live over 20C regularly(at least smart ones) in their life. I'm from Portsmouth and I would die if I had to last more days outside the global warming that is already causing summers to be unbearable. I was thinking going in winter and enjoying maybe 10 or 12, how do people actually choose to live in such unlivable conditions? 26 in Jan? madness. All the good places to visit are well over 20s.... fuck this climate change
dude how can you be this stupid and operate a computer
I was going to answer you seriously but this is the stupidest post I've seen in some time.
Southeast Asia is a tropical lowland region. If you do not like tropical lowlands, don't visit a tropical lowland. There are plenty of places on Earth where you can enjoy 10-12 C weather in winter. Southern Europe, for instance.
>Southeast Asia is a tropical lowland region
The distance between Hanoi and Jakarta is greater than the distance between Hanoi and Beijing.
SEA is huge and the difference in weather between the top part (northern Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam) compared to the bottom part is substantial. On top of that, you have places with high elevation.
So the idea that Vietnam or Laos are "tropical" is just plain wrong. They are way north of the equator and if you've ever been there in winter you would know how cold it actually gets.
stopped reading at global warming
Idk. Depending on humidity and how much it rains those numbers could mean a lot of different things.
Most things discussed on this board can be googled, but I rather ask someone who has been there in those months.

Hanoi will feel a lot fucking colder than that chart says in the winter because of the high humidity from the lakes, especially if you ride a scooter. Saigon is never really cold.
Thank you, that's what I wanted.
Some people are saying you can take a look at the charts, but it's really hard to guess all of that stuff just looking at the chart when you have humidity wind, and other factors at play.
Second this. Packed for HCMC but did a spontaneous trip to Hanoi and was scrambling to buy warmer clothes.
What does "best weather" even mean? Can't you google "average temperature X" for different cities, you complete fucking moron?
blimey anon little bit harsh. you could have just been sarcastic
was in VN last Dec and no its not cold
20-30C in Saigon and 15-25 in Hanoi
What’s the point of Sea the women are built like pancakes and the weather is like Florida? Why not visit Clearwater beach instead?
i am incel. you know why i'm going there
When are these viet chinks going to approve my visa, it's been a day already
viets legit do not give a fuck
their evisa system looks like an scam website from the 1990's
If you actually need it faster you can use an "expediting" service that sends them a bribe to do their job, officialized corruption is how the whole country works
I had the front desk of my hostel in Laos bribe someone to get me an e-visa approved next day cuz I thought it was visa on arrival and didnt apply for e-visa on time.
It costed 95 fucking dollars.
Nov & Dec. are ideal months for visiting Luang Prabang or elsewhere in Northern Laos. Perfect weather about that time and the air is clear.
da lat is cold
Not "cold" cold, but clouds, fog and damp chilly weather seem to be common in north Vietnam in winter.
