Enjoyed kravice falls. Met some Philippine girls and ended up getting with one because we were both staying in Dubrovnik. Mostar is worth the visit too
I remembered driving up the coast and being amazed at how beautify the Neretva Valley looked. It was river delta north of neum. The viewpoints are very nice
In general Bosnia is fun to visit because it is dysfunctional, former war zone, full of Yugoslavian sculptures and political tensions. Yet since the Norwegians demined it around 5 years ago it's been pretty safe
you might want to stay away from muslim villages though
there are still a few mujahideen assholes who came from arab shitholes during the war
Serb and Croat villages are safe
I personally wouldn't go,because I'm a Croat, but I dont know how they treat non-balkan people. If you get killed over there they'll dump you into the wilderness and the local police woudn't bother looking for you, so you might not want to annoy them.
they are crazy sunnis with ties to isis and they're armed
you cant trust them

Damn, that's a bit unsettling. Funny how everybody knows about them but they don't have grounds to arrest them
Shut the fuck up idiot. "balkan people" don't exist and even if they did us Croats would have nothing to do with them. Western herzegovina populated by Croats is completely safe.
Shouldn't this area be simply a part of Croatia anyway?

What does that have to do with my statement? But yes, western herzegovina should be a part of Croatia.

As long as it's not a part of Croatia you Croats are the definition of "Balkan ppl" then.

Firstly, Balkan means nothing. It is not a peninsula, it is only a mountain in bulgaria and serbia thus only these two countries can be correctly called "balkan".
Secondly, to say balkan people (ignoring the false nature of the term) would be as to say asian people. You would then be talking about a diverse mix of people with not much in common or better yet alpine people with three distinct cultures along the alps that would be hard to group togather on any basis apart from being part of the western civilisation.
Lastly, Croatia has more in common with italy and austria culturally and historically than serbia or bulgaria.

The coastline in Croatia is fucking amazing with endless perfect villages. Going to Hercegovina is a complete waste of time that would be better spent on the coast
I agree on the beauty part, one of my goals is to drive along the Jadranska Magistrala from Istria to Ulcinj, but I like other stuff too, this is why I asked. Historical places, mixed heritage places (Mostar is great from that point of view). Also, I enjoy the barren landscape in an esthetic way, I loved the drive from Trebinje to Herceg Novi
yeah, if you're a gastarbeiter from Livno then you get to roll back home in your shitty C class and impress the locals who stayed home in the dirt and land mines
I've been to Mostar for an afternoon. It's a neat town but the main focus is Stari Most and the surrounding bazaar. We went into a turkish house and a leather tannery too. It was a guided trip and our bus broke down at the border. I got screamed at by a pissed off Bosnian border guard for having to piss at the border lmao.
Pocitelj just south of Mostar has some ottoman ruins and a museum that are cool. There's also some roadside babushkas selling fruit, jam and honey and things like that.
Bosnia is a beautiful country. I wish i had spent more than an afternoon there.

Thanks for that, already been there, very nice places.
I was thinking the Livno area.

Ummm guy no politics here

Ummm no politics here tough guy 🙂
if you pass by Tihaljina go look for the Kolak family,

Lol I might just go there to say hi. If the Kolaks tell you about a fat guy with glasses driving a skoda, that was me.
Thanks guy

I would go with a gift straight to the mosque, why would they kill me? I'm not itching to go there, just curious

Idk man, Livno looks pretty intersting.
I found a few small towns in Bosnia that proved to be kino like Stolac, Konijc, Bihac
Also Çaber
fascinating destination.
