8h to 13h ride depending on the location. The farthest I've ride is to Phuket, but that's a 2-day visit

Goddamn Asians and defaulting "bike" as "motorbike".

Drove with dad the whole night for a total eclipse of the sun in Hungary. 10 minutes and show's over. We did some shopping and went back.
    Worth it.

When I was a student I routinely took overnight trains somewhere, spent my day off and returned back to class by overnight train again.
Doing that in Russia can easily get you 1000km away from home.

I’m from the uk. I used to work for a company that was a supplier to various companies in asia. The biggest customer was samsung
Quite regularly, i would go to south korea. The trip would be, fly on monday, arrive on tuesday, visit samsung on Wednesday, fly home on thursday. A four day round trip for a meeting that would sometimes last less than half a day

You sound like the later parts of "The Rolling Stones"

Guy from America travels across the Atlantic on a 9 hour journey. The other band members wouldn't even take the 30 min drive.
